Yes, I'm pretty OK with that.
Even if ADK games's voices are pretty bad in term of audio quality (reverbate/echo)

It's a little early to really decide it, but Ryoko will certainly have a brand new voiceset.
Same for Kisarah (One sure thing is I will not use her horrible NGBC girly voice)

Will be the same for Vortz since his voiceset is very limited and his 16bits digit voice is very strange.

Some test with turnbuckle climbing.
Don't "freakout", for the moment, it's only a platform, and I'm doing a taunt on top of it.


But the idea would be to make it interactive.
Perhaps by editing ladders script.
or a variation of ring climbing code

I would love to have 2 possible interactions.
-If player is hit and have the turnbuckle in the back, he will go to a custom dizzy anim.
-if you run to turnbuckle, you go to turnbuckle stand anim then you can cancel to :
      -homing dive attack
      -homing drop attack

I think I'm in a period of time, where I try a lot of stuffs to be sure at least few of them will be implemented in the game. I'm still adding a lot of features to the "rejected" list.
No possible with my openbor build or too complex to script or script not working :)

Also, since I'm thinking about ropes as well.
Do you know guys a way to make entity capable of going through walls during certain frames of an animation?

could you release a gameplay video to showcase what you had achieved thus far ? keen to see it all in motion.

And as Bloodbane said before you could always change the arena to a cage or something if you cant get the ropes to work out.

I'm necrobumping this thread to post this mockup of what I have in my mind for the wrestling game mode of W.A.

Here you can see my Custom Vortz as P1 andsome of the opponent you can fight in this game mode.
The idea is to have some of these characters availiable as new characters as well.


This is just a preview, since there is a lot more of enemies depending on the game mode you select.
World tour, Beat em up, The factory, Alone in the streets, Zombie Fighter...

About game progress, After a long hiatus I decided to restart working on it, I don't know if I can keep going much.
The ide is at least to complete the general game system, so all the game modes will be possibly playable.

I rejected a lot of features because of my lack of coding/scripting skills.
(no more wrestling system, no ring / rope interaction, custom screen messages...)
I reduced a lot of items objects interactions (the list is long.
I think 30% of what I had in my mind is simply impossible to code for someone like me unless I stop working to concentrate on undertanding these coding stuffs)

Now, I'm tring to get the irish whip type move that sends an opponent in the wall and the game system will be almost OK.

I'll try to keep you informed of the progress in, the next weeks.

If anything, I feel that leaving some features behind isn't that much of a deal breaker, and others can be easily tweaked to make a more interesting experience. I've dealt with things that would look great on paper, but once the time to work on it came, became a literal waste.

For example, I've put my characters having 100 MP each, and the launcher attack (juggling will be an integral part of gameplay like in Pierwolf's mods) costing 50 MP, to avoid breaking the game -- I took notes on characters like Marstorius from Fighter's History Revenge or Gokuu from World Heroes Extra.

The spritework is godlike. Muscle Power with a Mustache is the best!

Great roster i am suprised to see so many.  I like how well you sized the characters they all look good together.

I really want to concentrate on completing my mod but i will get round to helping with your script issues eventually.  Remember you made this project to push openbor so do not settle on anything i got your back brother.

I’m hyped for some of these wrestler enemies. But I do think two of them in the back of the second row could have a little tweaking to fit with the rest of them. Any more enemies you can showcase?
