    Stepping back for a bit

Hi everyone.  My job and some other IRL stuff have gotten more stressful recently, so I'm stepping back from Chrono Crash until things lighten up a bit.  Just a heads up that you should expect to see less of me for the next week or so, and I might respond to PMs in an even less timely manner...

    OpenBOR v3.0 Build 4153 for Windows/Linux/Wii

Why do you need one? (Unless you're using Linux and don't have a 32-bit runtime.)

Have you deleted your Saves folder?

    Plombo's to-do list

Did some more SpriteBuddy work today.  Despite some impediments, I got started on the glue between the frontend and backend.  I'm still guessing about two more days of solid progress before it's ready for a preview release.

    Plombo's to-do list

Ha, a PalApply bug more than 5 years after release!  I'm not going to fix PalApply, though.  For starters, I think I've lost the source code.  I hope I've lost it, anyway; the PalApply source code is a horrible beast that I never want to look at again. ;) I can, however, make sure that...

    Plombo's to-do list

Made more progress on SpriteBuddy yesterday and today.  The conversion backend is fully working now, and the GUI is also in decent shape.  I'm hopeful that it will be ready for a preview release after one or two more days of solid progress. :)

    Canceled The Lab of Mr.Din

Also some really old versions of 3.0.  The screenshot format was changed from PCX to PNG in r3344 (May 2011).

I'm lost. Where did this discussion about sprites and animation come from?

    Plombo's to-do list

Added a few things to the list: Also of note is that smealum is apparently releasing Ninjhax 2.0 in the coming weeks.  When he does, I should be able to revive the 3DS port.  I'll probably end up rewriting most of it from scratch, though.  The previous iteration added an ugly mess of #ifdefs...

    OpenBOR WebM preview release

I'm locking this thread since this release is outdated.

    OpenBOR v3.0 Build 4153 for Windows/Linux/Wii

Delete any .cfg files in the Saves folder.  The key mappings changed with the switch to SDL 2 a few months ago.

Thanks, random spambot, for posting in a thread that I had notifications enabled for.  Saved someone the trouble of reporting it!

    Plombo's to-do list

Remember the GUI for alpha mask generation?  I restarted that project today.  Here's the first screenshot of SpriteBuddy: As you might be able to tell from that screenshot, it's not just for creating alpha masks - it's also a complete replacement for PalApply. :)

    OpenBOR v3.0 Build 4153 for Windows/Linux/Wii

All videos at 48000 should sound bad in OpenBOR.  For the one that doesn't, did you try it with this version or the preview release? I'm not concerned about it of course, just curious.

Yeah, the audio track of that video has a frequency of 48000 Hz.  See this note from the release post: There should be a warning in the log file if you play a video with an audio track that needs resampling.

    OpenBOR v3.0 Build 4153 for Windows/Linux/Wii

What you are downloading is an already compiled binary of OpenBOR for 32-bit (x86) Linux.  You don't need to compile it yourself.  Just have the necessary libraries installed (or the lib32 versions if you're on a 64-bit install), set executable permission on the OpenBOR binary in the...

Thanks! Wait, are you just trying to use the distributed binary?  I thought you were trying to compile from source.  Why do you need to run a .sh file?
