Excellent,

i hope you are able to make a 6 player simultaneous version with a wide wide screen like the old 6 player XMEN game...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVqmss7ZOhY

it would be fitting & a real treat for people with custom cabinets

This already looked cool enough.... and then I saw you could freely switch characters at any time! AWESOME! This will make a great dynamic in gameplay.

That is what I liked too :)

8 players support for OpenBOR is under review yet.

Well, i was wondering if a switch mechanic & 6 players/helpers on screen is possible.

or if its possible to have a mode for single player & a different mode for coop

I don't know if any of you played Ghostbusters: The video game, but in it , you play as the rookie & the other 4 are CPU,
the only way to lose your life is if all 5 of you are down

so in essence,
for dungeons & dragons in single player mode,  all 6 are always on screen, & if they are knocked down , you have to help them get up, you can switch places with them anytime, especially if some levels require that you use a certain character to solve a puzzle or mcguffing switch.

coop mode would be an standard thing where players lose their lives & that's it

Agreed. I really like it. This is very interesting what ZV's got.

I remember seeing this cartoon briefly on and off on TV in the 90's (i don't recall too much because i didn't watch it actively, but i am familiar with it) so having a Dungeons & Dragons beat 'em up with the actual cartoon characters from the series is pretty nostalgic for me ;D projects like this, nsw25's "Toxic Crusaders", MersoX's "Thundercats", bWWd's "He-Man" and such, are one of the main reasons i love OpenBOR and MUGEN. We get to see fangames of franchises which as a kid it'd have blown my mind to have x'D
(Ok, toxic crusaders had 3 games...and 2 were beat 'em ups...yet somehow for me they don't count 100% because unlike many of the konami licensed games like biker mice from mars, teenage mutant ninja turtles, bucky o'hare, the simpsons, wild west cowboys of moo mesa, tiny toon adventures..capcom's rescue rangers, darkwing duck, ducktales...well, the gameplay on the toxic crusaders games wasn't particularly good.)
Needless to say, i am very hyped about this aswell as your Mortal Kombat project :) meanwhile i've been enjoying your "Street Fighter Z" MUGEN game. I really commend you on being so prolific and am happy to see your talent being branched out to other franchises in addition to DC and Marvel. Best of luck on this one!!

Edit: Oh i almost forgot...the ability of  switching to any of the 4 characters at any time in the game is awesome !

Very good and refreashing project.

My only "complain" would be about the "game feeling" It's good. Don't take me wrong.

But the physics, jumps, velocities, pausetime on hit, sound effects... All of this sounds and feel exactly like all the games you created.

You could perhaps try some different sound effect.
Otherwise it might give the feeling of a generic beat's em up with a DnD "skin" on it.

BTW, I'm really glad this kind of project exists, for a change : not a SOR/FF/DD mod ;)

Good job on this Zvitor :)
I like how you created the charactes for this

I wonder if you're going to create more enemy variations than just ones ripped from King of Dragons

I'm also curious about this, the ones in King of Dragons fit well, so i wouldn't say replace them. But that said i think it'd be a good idea to add some. Either enemies from the cartoon, or, if too cumbersome to make them from scratch, your own original take on existing enemies, such as sprite edits of existing enemy characters and such.

Great spritework/pixel art work BTW :) i saw the video you posted on youtube showing the process. Very accurate to the cartoon, really brings back memories of the konami licensed arcade games i mentioned, they had a knack for capturing the likeness of the source material into pixel art, as do you.

Thanks for feedback guys,
Game have early low progress, i need to define well how will be everything before do more enemys, i just did the second one because i wanted a shoter to test Eric Shield, i was woried about do heroes and check if the change char scheme will works fine,
Marvel and DC have same sound effects and fonts, thats fine to me, but to this one and to MK i will change for sure, actually i started this projects because i want to test different stuffs and styles.
i was watching cartoon again, there are some custom bosses which i want to try, but i should keep enemys from King of Dragons and D&D games too.
and songs will be ripped from this games too, will not use cartoon songs because it give flag to people which try record videos, Pierwolf' King of Dragons is my favorite Openbor Project, but we dont see so much videos of people playing thanks to music flags on his game.

Sounds like a good decision  ;D i think enemies from the cartoon would give it more of a flavour to distinguish it as a game based on the cartoon even more.
But at the same time, the King of Dragons / D&D fit in very well, so i would not remove them either.  :)

That's nice that you've made a game with this cartoon :) .
I played your game and I suggest two little things:
- Eric should have the ability to block when he's on his idle state
- We could walk behind the shops too.

Excellent game and I love the recolorations that you've made on some enemies  8) .

One of my favorite cartoons when I was very young was C.O.P.S., an animated serie with future policemen and women:
