Looks cool, if you haven't started then consider looking for sprites via Mugen. Avengers battlefront is a Openbor game that does melee and range very well, Cadillacs, AVP and Armoured warriors are titles to consider checking out from back in the day.

thanks for the positive feedback. i did check those games and also checked some of zvitors games. ive just started and figuring it out as i go. currently stuck in gimp as im unable to re arrange the transparent colours map
 
thanks so much for the positive feedback ill be happy to share soon in time. im still learning as i go i recently discovered this community and i could make my own game using someone elses game or from scratch entirely. and since this is my first game im starting by first editing some already existing games as a basis for my learning.

Its always recommended to follow up with authors prior to using their games, but there is a game here where the author is no longer active but gave their consent to use their game as a base.
Fighters History Revenge, it has just about everything to learn from.
Out of respect make sure to give credit where it's due.It goes a long way, some of the guys here played major roles in the past and still doing so to this day.

not yet im actually new to this engine or rather any game making engine ill be happy to post and share my progress in the near future. its nothing new or unique its actually coming from some of the games you have already probably played on this platform before. much like @zvitors marvel first alliance. but i have some ideas that will make it feel fresh engaging and exciting for the players but thats just a mere wish but i do hope it goes well and everyone gets to enjoy it. im a newbie to this thing

i cant exactly put it to words its just something im trying out that sparked my curiosity the first time i edited a character .. i dont know much about this engine i just picked it up recently so if it doesnt work out then it will just be a beat em up game like any other only that it will be a copy paste and edit in some sort of way lol. we will just have to wait and see when it comes out.
