I didn't see it before lol, yeah they really are too big. Plus there's too much quake effects, the screen is shaking all the time.Ouch, the hitflashes are too big. Maybe new player generation would like that but to me it's too much.
yes, they are too big for me too. The cover a lot of the screen.Ouch, the hitflashes are too big. Maybe new player generation would like that but to me it's too much.
oh really thanks buddyHonestly, there's some cool things in this game but IMO @O Ilusionista's Power Rangers game smashes this one in many aspects.
Lol, this game is up to 6 players?? Totally agree, a complete nightmarejust imagine 6 players using those effects? It would be a nightmare
No problem buddy, your game is amazingoh really thanks buddy![]()
It's soft censorship, those massive special effects and all that screen shake, you can't see the action, it's so weird how all games do it now, it's like our brains know what's going on but we don't get to really see it.
wow look at these cool hit effects and screen shake said no one ever.
Yes, this always happens - I've seen it happen with Mugen too, including with my own creation. But I understand this as "good faith" because we're using their IP and they're not complaining about it. So it seems like a win-win to me.Interesting how the story repeat again and again.
OUR* community create some "concept" of game based on a classic licence... SOR, DD, Night Slashers, Power Rangers (etc.)
(*or any fan indie game community)

What bothers me is when a company sees a fan's work, realizes that it's better than what they're doing and takes down not only the game in question but the entire website, like Sega did with Zvitor.
I've always been a big fan of the company, but this event made me change my opinion about it.
We know we're taking a risk with our Power Rangers game - and I'm sure the company already knows about it. I'm hoping the new game is good and that players like it, because if it isn't and people are more interested in "our" game, especially since it's free, I'm sure they'll come after us.
Thanks for the info, I wasn't quite sure if I want to plunge $35 for it even though it has a bit more bite than the recent beat'em up releases (GI JOE and Karate Kid) but I'm definitely gonna wait for a sale on this one.I played this yesterday and got a refund. I found the beat em up aspect quite boring to be honest, The characters lacked personality, they all felt very similar in combat and the chewing gum style animation and art felt off putting and chibi-ish which I can't stand, the controls also felt unresponsive at times and slow,
Some good things are the boss battles, I only fought the first 4 bosses but the boss characters have unique substance and challenge you incredibly well.
I also think the bonus/traversal/zords levels are fantastic and mini games are excellent too.
Unfortunately the main beat em up side of things is where it tanked heavily for me, you can't even play as characters unmorphed in their normal teenage form which is where the individual fighting styles shine the most, The overuse of screen shake and special effects doesn't make up for the gameplay either and doesn't look as good as modern developers think, The fighting styles should represent their personalities....
Red Ranger = Strong, bold, powerful
Black Ranger = Style, clever, brave
Blue Ranger = Patient, wise, strategic
Yellow Ranger = Fearless, agile, intelligent
Pink Ranger = Graceful, beautiful, smart
Green Ranger = Bat shit crazy
I will buy this game again but when it's on sale, I just can't justify paying £30 for it.

The Beat em up part is the worst thing about this game, I actually preferred the bonus levels which is a terrible thing considering it's supposed to be a bet em up.
At least it has a good soundtrack so that counts for something right?
