So I am working on a commercial game but it will be free to play so Here is a very early video just showing some of the custom animations I am making for the game. The game will play a lot like my tekken mod but this release will only have 2 levels.

 
This is a promotional game to advertise my album that will follow the same storyline as my upcoming animated music video.
I am going to do my best to have it in the play/apple store as well as the windows version available on gamejolt.

Yes, this will be a short game just to promote an album, but beat 'em ups are in my blood so gameplay and fun factor will still be of amazing quality.

This will be a great good game first and an advertisement second.
Don't be surprised if you play through this a few times even if you don't wanna listen to the album!

Malik has been so good that I wish he had time for a full game but as we all know, he has projects to get back to.
He will have all these assets when we're done so who knows what the future holds, maybe I'll go on all kinds of adventures! Lol

Malik is awesome PLAY HIS TEKKEN BETA!!!!

NuMetalMessiah: Why not learning how Openbor works to make your own game? :) I assume that the music tracks will be those of your album?
 
I originally went with Goenitz but he was a terrible base as his attacks suck so i went with robert and billy

Too much of a learning curve for me, especally when I have much more to do with the album and promotions and other things.
Besides, if not for the collab I would have never met malik and that would be a shame.

I like how we are moving forward, I might dabble in bor eventually but now isnt the time.

yes the music will be from my album.
 
Is the animated music video sprite based?

or is it more like anime or american 80's like?

I have natural fangs (mom didn't love me enough for the dentist lol) and I have 3 lip piercings.
I'll probably have him remove the fangs (makes me look a bit too evil) and the middle lip ring so it's not so crowded but malik is just knocking it out of the park with this game.

Everytime I get an update it's like Christmas morning.
He's got a couple games to get back to after he's done with this project but I think I may attempt to keep going when he's free again and do a level every so often since he'll have all the assets anyway and eventually we'll have a full game haha.
Who knows what the future holds.
 
So Malik sent me over a super kool update and I threw it into sony vegas and added music and sound effects to make it seem like a full gameplay demo.
While this still does not represent any sort of finished product, it's nice to see and hear what a super early version looks like.
Malik himself can tell you all the tech stuff with making the animations more fluid and everything else he's doing I am rubbish with all that lol

I'm not sure it's going to get much deeper than that with this just being a promotional game I mean who knows what might be in the future but I think that might be the complete move set at this point I'm not quite sure.
Oh wait I think he said I might get a DDT because in another part of my life I'm an independent professional wrestler that's why he's giving me wrestling moves hence the German suplex.

So the game is free or a paid game? :)
Is it entirely made with a KOF base?
 
It is a free game but a promotional game for a new album from Michael Black - "the suffering in me" it will be on gamejolt and the play store.

And yes totally KOF base.
 
Made in collaboration between myself and @msmalik681 "The Suffering in Me" the beta demo has just gone live on game jolt. I am working on getting it elsewhere upon full release.
This is literally just the smallest of tastes of the full game that should release in early 2023.
I've included a txt doc explaining the build and what will be in the full game.

Looks good, are the sprites original or edited?

The video on the website, that shop sign Retro Jake's, lol, I work at a shop called Eddie's Retro, our sign looks much the same and the BUY, SELL TRADE xD
