Hello,
here are the 2 games I'm working on :
ZOMBIOSKA :
In the country of Glaviota, scientists study a strange and unknown matter "the purple goo". One day a secret laboratory explodes and purple goo splatters everywhere. But the purple goo raises the dead ! Grab your guns, fight the zombi horde and destroy every goo puddles in the country...

Good to see you back around tontonMayonnaise! I moved your topic to the Miscellaneous Gaming section. Looks pretty interesting! I'd never heard of GZDOOM before. I assume it's an open source Doom engine of some sort, yes? Also is it just me or do the zombies look like they stepped right out of The Simpsons?

Thank you for your interest on my humble work, Damon.

Yes, GZDoom is an open source Doom source port.
My characters look a bit weird because I'm not good at 3D drawing. But I'm not really a simpson fan ...

Damon Caskey: There are some awesome mods in GZDoom. My Favorite are the Castlevania: Simon's Destiny :
The Splatterhouse 3D mod:
The Hocus Pocus doom remake:
Sonic 3D Doom:

The creators put a great effort on these games, they are all really awesome :)

As much as i love these projects, i think the Castlevania & the splatter house mods would work better with the Duke Nukem 3d engine -
specailly the catlevania one, there is a version of Duke3D that had support for VR even back then!
it has almost all the advantages of more complex poly design , but also keeps the sprites of the dead bodies around just like doom
also
Using a VR wand to whip the enemies would be the best thing since the castlevania 4 whip
& splatter house too, using bats , machetes & other melee weapons with a VR nunchuck/wand captures the feeling of being a murderous monster slasher pretty well

I've split GL-2050 into its own topic and uploaded to resources. Unfortunately the link to Zombioska project was dead, so I removed it.

Understandable. Tontonmayonnaise has two sites where he posts his doom wads:

- moddb: Mods - tontonmayonnaise
- his own blog: Les Bijoux du tonton

Tontonmayonnaise wads are fun, cartoony and original. They always come with satisfying weapons. His zombie design reminds me of The Simpson cartoon, I like it.

I've played Abducted and it was hilarious (an alien on the run killing the scientists who captured him^^) .

@machok: if you value Castlevania in Doom, I warmly recommend Godless Night. Oddly enough, it's even better than Simon's Destiny Castlevania (which was already a masterpiece in my view):

Godless Night is a hub-based wad where you gather keys to progress further. In order to enter a world you jump into a painting like in Super Mario 64 (the effect is beautiful).

The music is very eclectic, with Castlevania tracks (which slap) and many other pieces from other games.

The guy who made Godless Night, Tango, also created a weapon/monster wad called Supercharged. It adds news weapons that are more punchy and implements unique monsters that are deadly without beeing frustrating. It's important because Godless Night already comes with Supercharged included.

For the record, Godless Night won a Cacoward this month! I had immense fun playing Godless Night. (y)
