You don't have to make spikes from scratch. Here are some I seperated. Just make sure you them fit the shield.

I'm just using Shredder from Tournament Fighters with remap.

hmm, yeah he could use a new head.  I would try head #2 and #3 for the first few jumping frames and head #1 for the actual attacking part.  Whatever combination you think is best thou :)

I'm also happy to report that I'm almost FINALLY finished with the 'smart pal' of all the TMNT sprites.  So the progress of both mods should speed up now. ;D

I hope the Sprites are ok this way, some of them need still some smal edits on the hands.

I did not edit the right hand because I don't want to decide which main weapon slash should use in your games, maybe one will give him a Kriss/Sword or the other wants him to just fight with his Claws, or maybe have the playnable version in the one style and the Boss version in the other, because of this I also added 1 optional alternate Blocking sprite, just for claws only.

*Ground Smash
I was not sure how many frames are realy necessary for this attack, because of that I added some extra frames between the sprites with the motion blur effekt.

Btw. If you guys don't like the default Grab/Throw sprites, I think you could create a good alternative if you remove the left arm from the ground smash sprites to create a alternate Throw.

*Air Slash
I did a alternate version for the last frames because I was realy not sure about the first head I used, you can decide which you like more.

*Intro
I'm not sure if this sprites would fit for Slash I hope they are ok, I can search for an alternative if you don't like them.

*Dash
Thats a Dash sprite from Michelangelo, I was not sure if one of you would have use for it, I changed the colors and added it just in case.

Awesome work dude, much appreciated!!  ;D

It will take me some time to edit him further to add his weapon etc.  Also I will add some colour separation for palette options like the other turtles.  Once he is added in game I will send you a small demo to test him out ;)

Test sheet with weapon from Melcore's Slash, incomplete.  If anyone can suggest a better weapon to use or can help make one please do. This weapon looks pretty good thou, I just need to do a better job and fix his claws.

I felt like I mucked the alignment of claw on the and walking idle stance is all. The ones lictbringer did are fine, I meant the ones I pasted on from the other slash.
