Hey cool style, i like that, i like that you dont have too much white and black, thats beginners pixel artists virus.
Any videos? Would be great to have some your own fonts, its not hard to do them so im sure yo would do it in no time and it would look even more polished.Anything that is leftover from previous mod should be replaced if youre going with original sprites IMO.

OK i played it to the end and i like it a lot, many different throws/grabattacks and humour, it would be great it enemies would have death animations, for example if you cut their belts off then their pants would go down and they would cry or something , or any different death animations with humour, i could use running animation or maybe faster walk.I like final boss and his attack with weapon stuck in the ground.I see you have well planned out project and it will only get better.Congrats! I turned my childhood dreams into short games as well.

Love your artwork.

heres some feedback from a quick playthrough

delete your screenshots and save files... so many in each folder and waste of data for download

player can walk behind bars at start by walking near wall (so walking behind the brick wall.)

was hoping player could break bars with sword.

forward, forward does a sword into ground attack, but i would have that move as a run attack and have forward forward being to initiate run

combat was really slow and can be sped up

hitflashes would be nice

block effects would be nice also, even have player and enemies move back slightly as they have swords clash from a successful block

heroes spin attack is super slow. i would also suggest add ability to move around whilst he does this.

have some movement with background entities. like prisoner on wall and eyes through darkness (blinking, breathing etc) person against wall can even say things or give advice when attacked

also the treasure box i couldnt hit with sword attack, needed to use ground sword attack which feels odd and looks silly as I was clearly hitting treasure box with normal attack... (maybe make treasure boxes big and cartoony in appearance if its a bbox issue ?)

orc enemies were same colour as hero, didngt like that, should be blue, green or greyish.

give player riseinv so he is temp pimmune to attacks after falling down

give him a riseattack also please

also enemies come out of dark room all at once, they look like one enemy until they suddenly attack or move and split up

give same enemy types random speeds of walking so they dont bunch up

have the taunt do something... like stun nearby enemies to set up for a attack ? its a cute move and adds character to game but dont have it as a throwaway concept

Good project. A little slow and sluggish, but the gameplay is cool.

I think that some objects are difficult to hit because of offset position. even the white hand for level end.
During the spining blade, there is a way with script to guide the character. It would be a good addition.

For some reason, this game reminds me of the European scene of Amiga games, back in time...

Right now, mostly into M.U.G.E.N.

Still having fun playing Openbor gems made by skilled modders. (also cooking a little something...)

Something I've noticed in your last video: the walk animation speed is wrong. The hero should move his legs way faster, or it looks like he is sliding.

 My tip for font editing is that font sheet's size defines the font's size. For instance, if the sheet's size is 160x144 in pixels, the font size is 10x9 in pixels (160/16 x 144/16)

I played a few games with the first version.

Excellent work, the graphics are beautiful, especially.

I agree with nsw25; a run and attack move will be useful, otherwise you can basically attack in one way only.

Please keep up the good work!
