Excellent coding, it's very satisfying to be able to change from one mount/vehicle to another so easily!
I was also wondering if it was possible to do the same thing for enemies and if they can, for example, jump out of their vehicle and it continues on its way towards the player?

Thanks buddy. Yes, it's possible to do it for enemies, currently I'm doing it with the bikers that appear in the bike stage in order to maintain the same behaviour as players.

And it's possible to unbind them from the vehicle in order to continue walking towards the player. The script itself indeed is not too complicated, the improvement is more related to CMT giving a visual way to build it, really very useful.

Does anyone have a complete save file for this game so I can access everything? I'm a beginner and I really want to test everything out. Can anyone please help me?
You just need to finish the game once in the arcade mode and everything will be unlocked. To test everything I really encourage playing with a fresh save folder.

Highly anticipating the next big release. I forget what you're working on next but I'm sure it'll be cool :)

Just something I wanted to report is that on this screen right here in SoR 1, at least one enemy ALWAYS gets stuck right here. They just walk towards the pit for ages where I can't reach them and it ruins what is otherwise my favorite route. Usually it's the Nora or Hakuyo but I guess it could technically happen to anyone. It's sooo frustrating, lol. Not sure if it's easy to fix or not but it's driving me crazy.

Thanks for the feedback :) I will think of a way to improve it in the next version.

Taking a closer look at this situation, this is not like a wall/obstacle stuck where the enemy will never escape. In this case specifically enemies always escape, you may lose some time in a speedrun, but it's not exactly a game breaking.

 
@Psykai Thanks again for the feedback, buddy :) I applied a simple fix in the enemy A.I. to avoid stucking off-screen and in front of a hole. Plus it works for all levels where this kind of situation can happen, like SOR3 Stage 3.
I also moved forward the "wait" point a bit in the SOR1 Stage 4 (I recorded the video before this change).

Look how they will move up to escape from the hole as soon as they are off-screen.
 
Oh awesome! ^_^ And yeah it wasn't game-breaking, just time-wasting and one of those 'quality of life' things, lol.

Would it be possible to add an option to the extra menu that removes the 'select a route' thing? Sometimes I like to do something pretty crazy: play two characters at once (using same controls, with a different start button so I can select a different character), and I was having a BLAST doing that with this game just now until I got to one of the route selects. When I tried to go to the 'yes' option, I guess it registered the right arrow twice since both players were techinically pressing it, so it remained stuck on 'no', meaning I couldn't progress, lol. Totally understand if that's not possible 'cause this is a ridiculously dumb thing I was doing in the first place xD

What're you working on at the moment? I THINK I remember you mentioning Beta Max was next? Not the biggest Max fan but still interested in how you'll approach it. I think SoR Remake he just had a different idle and walk anim. Will you be doing something more interesting move-wise or anything?

I will think in a solution for that, an idea is maybe holding the directional button during some time in the selected route side.

Currently I'm collecting and applying every character classic palette from all the three games. It's almost finished and after that I will start the Beta Max.

Yeah, certainly Max Beta will have more differences than just idle/walk anims due to some new sprites I received recently. Most of them are related to attacks, throw/slam moves specifically.
 
Hello, I was wondering if this type of behavior was already included on the SOR3 route between Big Ben and Galsia: a grabwalk and a throw at the player?
Currently this move exists but I modified it to allow Big-Ben to throw players instead of grabbing a Galsia entity. I believe it's more direct and useful than the original, but I can make a few more tests.

 
Hey, I have one suggestion and one problem. The suggestion is, can we have a mode where we can play as npcs and heroes? And the second one is, why am I unable to select all the npcs except Abadede as the CPU partner? Also, Sor2 Axel and Blaze are unplayable as cpu partners.

Hi friend. Sorry, I don't know if I understood correctly, heroes already are available in the cpu partner mode as playable characters. Are you meaning a mode where you can switch the control over the cpu partners?

Currently it's not possible because I still need to create their cpu partner versions. I'm planning to focus on this task after all the SOR1/SOR2 heroes are finished.
