My sprite animation reel

Betwen animation work i found some time to asemble simple aesthetics test.
It had music from anime but that was instantly blocked by YT so nobody could see the vid... which i kinda expected.
This piques my interest greatly.
 
Yes Kratus i really really wanted to put Your code into use and i think this is the right project, it works very nice so far, the only quirk i have is that the HUD/names are displayed on "wrong screens" cause 1st player can be on left or right split, i wish i could assign 1st player to left screen and 2nd to seconds screen , also... You think its possible to totally get rid of 3rd "normal screen" ? Also if there wont be 2nd human player - npc will be on 2nd screen.So only 2 split screens are displayed at all times ? Your code is pretty much unchanged besiudes 255,255,255 changed to 0 to get black line and i commented out coords drawing onscreen.walk.gifidleant.gif

But will the game starts always with split screen without mixing into a unique screen when both players are in the same place?

You think its possible to totally get rid of 3rd "normal screen" ?
It's possible to hide the normal screen by disabling the drawscreen lines even if some necessary variables keep working in the background.
 
Yeah i want the split screens to be default at all times so they will never turn into merged screen, so theres no wide screen with both chars on it, each char has its own screen and thats it. So playerindex acquires playuer and assigns left screen to player1 and right screen to player2 and it stays that way no matter what.And if player1 dies or player2 dies? Just black screen.
And with that ... is it possible to to unlock screen moving up and down as well? Now Z axis is locked for screen res and i have cameratype 1 but the camera doesnt really move down/up with character.
I commented out normal drawscreen lines, two of them, but the main screen is still there.
Btw when i commented out i gained some fps so its 88fps sometimes.The game is 1440x720.

I need to check the code to remember how it works, it's been a long time since the last update. But the fixed screen position is easier to reproduce than the current dynamic mode, so I will take a look.

I'm really starting to admire you as an artist especially your line work.
I use a lof of references and tracing and clone tool and overall i wouldnt say its my line work.
The whole point is to make it look like not my crappo style, my style actually is very different from all the shiz i do for money.
Not having a style or be invisible is needed so i can mimic anything , i have huge libraries of animation cells, backgrounds and i use that a lot.
I am animator mostly, the art side of it is me maybe in 30%.
Its just a cool thing if i can emulate some old cartoon style or actual capcom snk stuff.This way im not stressed about if i can do something cause i know that with enough time i can.
But i still look once a month for new animation software that will help me with what i do, learning all the time.
