So how come this project was never finished. It was so promising, and would have been great when it was finally complete! Bummer that notion seems to be long gone though. 😢

The developer was also part of the engine team - but kind of went rogue on us. Starting making a bunch of unwanted and deleterious bloatware edits. When asked to stop, he doubled down instead, and wouldn't quit until forcibly removed from the community. That was several years ago, and to this day he continues problematic behavior (namely, copying code from our efforts into his own engine branch and trying to claim credit for it).

The game project had stalled out quite a bit before anyway - but that mess pretty much sealed it. Sorry.

Do you know who was working on this turtles game? It looked pretty cool.

Ah, that's too bad. But at least what was done was good, despite it being nowhere near a finished product. Sad the full version of it will never see the light of day. But you know what I would love? A fan made OpenBor remake of the ultra rare, but also never quite finished Beavis & Butt-head arcade game made by Atari Games in the mid 90's, which I doubt will ever be playable via emulation it seems.
