Sprites to sheet, then sheet to sprites.

Hi,
I would like to know if there is a software or some softwares to automatically do these changes (steps)

-Create a sprite sheet from a sequence of sprites
So you can work on the sheet easily

-Then export these sprites from the edited sheet.

I would like these conditions.
-Keeping the palette information 256colors (etc)
-Keeping the order of sprites (based on their name. 01, 02, 03...)
-Free/without limitation or blueprint

Any suggestion? Thanks

Thanks Ilu!
So, I might be able to do the first step with it.
Creating a spritesheet where all the sprites keep the source 256 palette, and sprites displayed in "alphabetical order".

After working on the sheet, how can I export them in an "automated" way in single sprites like 001.bmp 002.bmp 003.bmp etc ?

EDIT : I just noticed "+ others is part of the pack" Ill check a bit more to understand.

OK, back after some kfm tests...
Stitch works perfectly after some adjustments. The options are really impressive...
So I managed to create a sheet, test with kfm.
Then I tried to export it in separated sprites again with "Cropper"

But with my settings, it exports only one sprite. What's wrong?

EDIT : Also, I noticed the process sprites to sheet seems to mess with the palette informations. (I'm not sure if I messed or the software itself, but I lost my 256 indexed color)
I think I'll end up trying to create a script with photoshop. Still thinking. such a script would be hard to make...

Finally I used the "slice tool" from Photoshop. I worked perfectly since stitch studio generated a sheet with regular space for each sprite.
