Hilariously cheap enemies, but you also get to play an incredibly cheap character (Scar) who can hit enemies across the screen, using penetrative attacks, and do absurd damage (LOL)
Just the mechanics of Scar's blood attack are reason enough to go full SCP / monster and just wade through the slug-fest. The sound / audio are spot-on for the Silent Hill theme, but the characters you play are obvious rips (Heather Mason is Lucia from Final Fight Tough, and Maria looks like a re-dressed tranny hooker - Linda - from Double Dragon), but there are few hidden special moves to discover since the HOW TO PLAY screen is broken. Only by spamming RETURN / START will give enough screen flicker for you to figure out the movesets.
The SCP / Silent Hill monsters you get to play are unbalanced (i.e., Scar), but there are few surprises through the game (except for the redrawn sprites for all the Silent Hill enemy mooks and bosses). Some bosses are effectively cheap, so use some cheating to get the muscle needed to break through.
