In Progress Astonishing X-men Deadly Premonition

The project is currently under development.
So the bosses in this game are going to be hard and sometimes you will fight more than one at once. I wanted to make it like the comics so their powers will not be toned down in the game.  The game will act sorta like an mmo where each char is sorta a class and have classes and skills and all that.  So enemies will have some crazy abilities besides punches and kicks.  Basically what Im saying is if your having a hard time I want to make a mode called cerebo mode where you can look at sub boss and boss comic cards that tell you what their abilities are and what they do to help you out in the game.  I was a bit nostalgic with the old X-men cards i used to collect as a kid so i decided to make the bios in this style :) Hope this is possible to implement.

Old style you mean the player bios?  That is different my friend the player bios are on select screen the enemy bios will be in a cerebo mode so they are two different thing.  :P

Yup that is his gadget mode he will rely on them to survive instead of physical attacks.  and his acrobat mode he will be a fast and agile fighter.

Yup like on the main menu you can choose cerebo and then browse boss profiles.  They will give you hints onto what they do so if your having problems with a boss you can at least get a hint on how to kill them.

    This feels like an old school gaming experience.
 
Thanks the first idea we had with this game was to make an unoffical sequel to the old school X-men sega genesis games.  Then it evolved to how can we make this so your x-men has the true powers they deserve.  Have you noticed on a lot of comic games that they make characters weaker than they are in comics so they are more balanced for that game?  Then after we did that we were like okay the enemies have to live up to the xmen so we are also giving the bossess and subbosses their true mutant powers as well.  Some times it might be really hard when your fighting someone that can put up shields on other bossess and heal them while DOTING you while the other boss is all about killing you in seconds lol.  So to kombat this we made those card things so you can go okay beautiful dreamer keeps kicking my but why is she doing this.  Lets go to cerebo and check out what she can do ah she can do :P  Basically i would say this game is part X-men sega genesis part beatem up part mmo style lol :P
 
that would have been a great base lol i choose that wizard dude on knights of the round and resized him to proper size.. Then I got another sprites head and put it on him lol :P Well good news after im done with Masque i think there are only 4 more morlocks left to sprite. 
 
Sorry there hasn't been any updates... The mod was broken for awhile then bloodbane fixed it.. Beast is almost done I just need to go through some things beastie did : P  After that bloodbane just needs to code the sentinel levels, once that is done a few more enemies and a couple more morlokcs.  I got all their designs out of the way.. Thanks to doom and supa for helping me with some morlocks.  I think the sewer level has enough bosses and sub bosses now what do you guys think.. Can you guess all the morlocks?

No they encountered them before this game.. Basically the purifiers took over the morlocks sewers, they put a sentinel factory deep within the sewers.. They used collars on the morlocks similar to the ones from the animated series which control the morlocks and make them work for them.. In the game demo, you can play the first act of the game called Night of the Sentinels.
 
X-men act one should be out this year.  Bloodbane needs to code couple more stages for the demo, beastie and i need to go over beast final mode together and get it perfect.  Beastie has done some great things its a matter of how we are gonna put them together.  I need to sprite about 3 more morlocks and then code all of them and a few more enemies for sentinel stages. After that will set up a beta test with a few people once the bugs are ironed out enough we will release the demo :P  Problem is we are running out of sprites that fit the size of the game so i have to resize or scratch sprite them lol
