Hey guys, a couple of people mentioned they could not upload attachments, so I looked into it and sure enough the total attachment limit was over. To fix this I deleted all attachments over a year old.

I also made the following changes:

  • Total size of attachments folder for the forum is now unlimited.
  • Total attachment size per post is now unlimited.
  • Individual attachment size limit increased from 1MB to 4MB.
  • Maximum attachments per post increased from 4 to 10.

Attachment types allowed are .png, .gif, and .jpg (same as before). Remember attachments are not permanent. I will periodically purge old (one year+) attachments to keep the site running smooth.

To be honest, I don't think we even need attachment on post anymore. There are plenty of good and free image hosts everywhere.
 
That's good news! This is a lot better with its improvement on the max limit of attachments.

A lot of image hosts are known for going down or becoming paid, though.

Yeah, but there are always many options there. Imgur.com is there for ages.
