Somebody had suggested Invisible Woman. Do you know what this mean? TO OPEN FANTASTIC FOUR PANDORA'S BOX. When you put someone from a team on a game, people keep asking for the whole team or its relatives. For example, since I've added Black Cat, you can't imagine how much messages with "PLEASE ADD SPIDER-MAN" I've received. And it got worst once I announced Spider-Woman..
You're already making Spiderman though. Did they miss the memo? Haha.
I must shamefully admit I'm guilty of this mentality myself. I want either the whole team, or nobody (since having only one member feels like a tease, haha!) The perfect Marvel Beat'em Up would have EVERY major, minor and obscure character in it. This would be amazing but also very hard for a developer to do unless they slowly add new characters over time after the game's final release, which is what DanteDevil intends to do with the Mortal Kombat Chosen One game I believe to put the whole MK roster in it post-release, and with something like that you can take as long as you want since the full game is already out.
Believe it or not, even with it's 70+ characters, I even found myself wanting more with ZVitor's game, lol! There's just something about beat'em ups and fighting games that makes me want a billion characters, haha. Variety is the spice of life I suppose.
I consider your game to be far superior and the best Marvel beat 'em up around, so naturally I feel it should have the most characters since they're always very faithful and authentic. So whilst I appreciate how annoying character requests must be for you as a developer, you should also see it as a massive compliment that people are looking to you, knowing you're the one who is most likely to do their favourite characters justice

I for one don't doubt you could make ANY character in this game. You haven't made a single 'bad' character so far. Yes there are characters like Emma and Brand who are difficult to play, but that doesn't mean they're bad, they just require players who are good at learning complex characters. There's something for everyone
I forgot to respond to your other reply too, lol:
That is the main question. Remember that we will have Nightcrawler, which will abuse of his teleport (which works almost on the same way of phasing).
I forgot about him! He's an awesome character and I can't wait to see him in this game. He definitely makes Shadowcat near impossible though since he covers the flanking, in-and-out combat style I said would suit her. Poor Kitty just isn't unique enough
Lol yeah. From those names, the only I like is Nico. Maybe Karol. And I like that guy with the Dino too.
I wasn't a huge Karolina fan or anything but visually speaking she would be awesome, glowing and shooting rainbow light energy. She'd stand out a lot and I feel like we need a character with pretty abilities instead of all the explosions and fire and lightning, haha! Creating a sphere-shield around her like the Facebook game could be her block and maybe allow her to move or fly around with it for a few seconds (but not use other abilities or attacks whilst it's active). This kind of thing could work for other characters too, a kind of block that allows them to move around but not attack, similar to ZVitor's Magneto shield.
I liked the Dinosaur's original owner before she died but the problem with both those characters is the dinosaur would do most/all of the attacking, which I guess is fine and would work like your Cloak and Dagger idea where either the owner or dinosaur is an NPC that follows you. It would make more sense to play as the dinosaur though which would be weird, haha. For the purpose of having the whole team, I definitely wouldn't complain about having either one of the dinosaur owners, but I also can't imagine how they'd work from a gameplay perspective.
Nico would be amazing. I love Gothic characters and her visual design is really nice. It's the one character ZVitor got right in terms of gameplay with her Staff of One and the random spells and damaging her HP if she used the same one twice in a row, so if you did something like that with her then that would be perfect. One difference I would suggest though is perhaps in addition to being able to cast a random spell, she could also cycle through spells the way Hawkeye and Brand cycle through Ammo, but maybe it costs more Power to cast a spell that you choose yourself or damages you slightly, just to make it slightly easier to get the spell effect you want.
Having said all that though, Molly is my favourite character, so if the rest of the Runaways made it into the game and she didn't, I'd be way more sad than if none of the characters made it at all. The only way to really make her stand out (and make her strength not seem ridiculous) would be to somehow utilize her falling asleep after using her powers (maybe using her specials too much, or after her Avenger Power) but that would probably be very annoying for players since it's a negative thing, and she would have no real special/unique thing to make her worth picking over other characters (except for people like me who just enjoy playing characters they like). She'd be a gimmick character at best :/
This makes me wonder actually and could be interesting. How many players here would happily pick a character who is either underpowered, gimmicky, or feels almost identical to another character because you just LIKE the character? For example, if Shadowcat/Kitty Pryde played almost exactly like Nightcrawler, would you still pick her? If there was a seemingly useless or underpowered character, would you still pick them if you liked the character?
For me it's a 'yes' for both. Like in the Nightcrawler/Shadowcat case I'd play both characters even if they were more or less the same, because I like them both. I'm just kinda curious if I'm the only one?
Sorry for the long post

I realized it's been a while since I really contributed more than a sentence to a subject lol.
