The Openbor version is 6412 but the next one will run on 7556 or whatever the latest model of the engine is.
@FentostheBarb : Yes, there is something new since then:
- All arenas have been converted to widescreen

- New characters and their facesets can be encountered in Duel mode:

- Story mode maps have been reworked and expanded:

- Efforts have been made on new characters as well as the integration of a new palette:
