i use ASKA for this base and customizes her head
 
THis Master Splinter based on Houoh is really good!!

I never liked this character even if the concept can be interesting.
I think I still prefer to see Aska herself as a bonus character (Even if hardcore TMNT fans would say she's not canon) :-[

The thing with Aska and Venus are that in both cases hardcore fans would say that both are not canon, Venus was created just for the live action series and they make some terrible mistakes in here creation, and Aska started out as a Game version of Mitsu from the third TMNT Movie, but was changed into a original char. :-\

But that is not realy important and they can add any char they want into there Games, because no one will force anyone to use a char they don't like. 8)

Also, if I recall, Mitsu name was displayed in beta ver. of Turtle tournament fighter, then they edited it to Asuka.
 
Beastie I love the tail it looks perfect man. how long did it take you to edit that ?

I wouldn't mind adding venus eventually but seems like a lot of work to edit her sprites so unless i just find a really easy base I probably won't add her but it wouldnt hurt to have a female playable option maybe one day
 
i believe supaman is making her with some bases i gave him hes a good sprite artist so im sure he will post some work when hes done

Only a few minutes, I just cut the tail out of the other sprites, added to splinter, changed colours and added the lines on tail.
 
man you guys have really been getting alot of things done wish I had more time to work on my mod but work has been sucking me dry

Same here but I'm curious because of the Michelangelo sprites in BeasTie's Avantar, Michelangelo is using a Kusarigama there, instead of nunchucks.

So BeasTie will your Michelangelo only use the Kusarigama, or is this just for your Avantar?
 
Yeah I was just messin around, he has his nunchucks in the game - I want to eventually give him Kusari as alternate weapon. 

I have already given Don the switchblade on his staff.
 
Been ripping Burning Fight enemies, objects etc.  I think the enemies are about the right size without any alteration needed.  If anyone can help out it with ripping would be greatly appreciated ;)

Maybe you could make a little list so that not anyone who wants to help ripps the same stuff.^^
 
Me too :p I didn't want to have to rip stuff but it's quicker than the time I'm wasting re-sizing stuff.

Thanks for link but those are no good, they have enemy sprites etc. in the way.  All the stages are heavily animated in the game.

there is some cool destructible objects and items in the game, I'll send you what i get ripped.

yeah there is barely any good background rips anywhere, most are not layered, not animated or simply incomplete.

EDIT:

Well looks like a lot of work I've done has been in vain.  Was trying to avoid it but I'm probably going to make custom foot clan enemies, esn23 has convinced me of good a base to use. 

I really wanted to use the old foot clan, i did some cool stuff with them, but sizing is a real issue that I'm sick of dealing with.

Here's a quick test edit, an early attempt.

Oh I remeber the Stance, you are using Kamui from Ninja Masters as a base right? looks good. :)
You say the sizing is a real problem with the sprites, I guess it is only a problem if you try to make smaller sprites big and not the other way around right?

If you don't have a problem with making bigger sprites small, you could use zantetsu from last blade, as a base for the Foot Clan elite Ninjas, he would be almost perfect for it.


I Downloading the Burning Fight roms now and try to get my Emulator to work, I will try to rip something, but I can't make any  promises right now. :-\

If your projectis is done, could you make your old Foot Clan edits public?
This way others could use your old work for ther own projects and your work would not be completly in vain. ;)
 
yea Kamui is perfect for the foot clan I don't think you can do better than that Beastie did you make the head from scratch ?
