What's good everyone and Lord Bloodbane, I'm sorry if I haven't been online lately because I was super busy with working on Knights of the Round Revenge. But anyways, here the video preview the next openbor project I'm working on soon which is my favorite arcade game Dungeon Magic. And here it is!

good work, With the updates sure that they will be improving more things and you will be a cool mod, this is cool. ;D greetings.
 
For the moment it looks more like Dungeon Magic characters into generic medieval capcomish game.
But It's definitly a good news to see that these characters could be used in a great mod.

I personally loved what you did with RPGmaker (mostly visually)
So, I'm really looking forward to what you can do with a similar universe in Openbor.

Well for the record nedflandeurse, I'm still working on the JRPG of Dungeon Magic 2 on the rpg maker 2003 product. But the openbor mod of Dungeon Magic is going to be a retelling of the storyline plots of the original arcade game and it's rpg sequel with the original characters like Illatisha, Melodie,  Maya Chunsou, or the harpy Tishera becoming playable characters alongside the cast. And the mod's title is going to be different too.

BTW what palette did you use when you create the background for this level and also for select screen? I asked cause I can see lot of color loss there
 
Yes, some color loss around.

Also, I would love to see enemies from DM and similar BG as well. (even if convert isometric elements might be hard)
 
I think that I using the old palette for Knights of the Round Revenge for this mod, that explains why the some of the color is not present in Dungeon Magic mod. But fear not, I'll figure out a way to fix it somehow.......
 
Thank you for the compliment of ash's current moveset Miru, and I also read your private message about you adding a new character to my Knights of the Round Revenge mod. I have say just go for it, but if you have the character data folder for the Robin hood character, can you send it to my email address? It's called cuffjeremiah@yahoo.com
 
Today while I was working on my Knights of the Round Revenge mod, I have been secretly working on and updating my Dungeon Magic mod that I started back in February. The entire first level has been changed and the majority of the enemy characters from the arcade game has been added along with Vold, Cisty, and Gren who have been added as playable characters along with Ash. Here's the gameplay video that i posted on YouTube and it has a downloadable link on it. I'll be sure to keep you guys posted on more updates later on.

At 0:22, when you hit enemies, they should shake quicker, so they doesn't looks strange. And some enemies doesn't shakes when hit,
Also, the lizzard man uses two type of shadows (one from the sprites, one from codes)
 
Yikes looks like I forgot to erase the shadows underneath the lizardmans feet, i need to fix a few things to this mod. Thanks for giving me some more tips O illusionista, I appreciate it.

Also I like the fact to see these characters in horizontal type beat em up!
 
Here's the gameplay for Vold, the old wizard and Venom's former teacher who is also one of the playable heroes of the arcade beat em up. Now his spells may have came from Knights and Dragons as well as the rise of warduke game mods, but I try to elaborate on more of his attacks as they are a bit overpowered especially when facing the sub boss of stage 1. But anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the videos and let me know what you guys think.
