Canceled Enter the Double Dragon (8bit style)

Project is halted prior to completion and will not receive further updates.
OMG played the demo with my bro and we're satisfied as hell! :D But it's going to have both arcade and nes dd 1&2 stories, right? What about things from dd3 nes? Will there be story mode for dd3? I've played some remakes and many have only 1&2 story levels. I wonder why? :P Anyway congratulation for great game! :D

I'm a huge fan of the beat-em-up genre, especially Double Dragon. The screen shots for this look amazing, Die_In_Fire really captured that classic gaming style. Keep it up. Can't wait to play this one

Directly on Dropbox? You mean it constantly being updated? I thought it was more like a mega upload mediafire kind of site...

Also got to form a band, so my only day off is using time for that, and for hunting records  :P

Dropbox is not like other file sharing sites which you upload and let people download link to grab it. It is much convenient for keeping the files you want to use or edit. If it's for your personal use, you can keep it. Also, you can share the Dropbox link of your file you put/drag or upload in Dropbox either in public or private. Like O said, you will never lose your stuff you want including if you want your own project to be in Dropbox.

Nah, Dropbox also works as a folder, so basically you can save and update anything as you work if you wish. Then just share the links that you want to share.

I don't use dropbox for the moment.
It make my computer slowing down, particulary when you're linked with numerous team members on a project.
But I really like the concept of external device.

Tip: disable the auto start with windows. This will reduce the slowness. Just REMEMBER to start it manually when you start to work.

Alright,just a quick feedback here:
  • I love the different styles in the Dragons, that gives them individuality and expands replay value.
  • About Jeff, he's one of my favorite boss/mooks and I'm glad he's there. I'm also happy you choose to give him his DD2 K.O. voice instead of the generic male grunt. He is tough, though, and probly is not a problem when he's a boss character (after all, if you're smart, you can throw him to the pit to finish him off quickly), however, his mook version (stage 3 and 4 appearances) he's still too tough! He blocks a lot, he crouches every time for a jumping attack or uses anti-air kicks, basically, he's too tough for his mook version. May I suggest to tone him down when he's just a regular character, but probably keep his boss AI when appearing in the final stage along Willy. I'm sure that will give a lot of balance in gameplay.
  • Same case for Abobo, his Y axis range is just too... long. As boss that's great, but as regular mook should be slightly toned down.
  • I love the multi-layer scheme used in the first stage, but sadly, this doesn't appear in the stage 3, especially in the forest clear area with the mountains in the background, probly could be implemented there again?
I'm impressed by the mod. It really feels like a NES DD but with a larger palette, multiple and different enemies on screen and without the annoying sprite flickering. Great job.
