Forum Malfunctions

Hey all,

I'm aware the forum is a mess right now. Some of you are getting erroneous errors and messed up theme. Some members may not be able to open the forum at all and get an "Account Suspended" message. My host did an auto upgrade on PHP last night that completely broke the forum software. I have a ticket with them, but of course it got escalated and may be up to 72 hours before I hear from them again.

Please try and bear with me, I'll keep you updated as I get more information and have things fixed soon as I can.

Still no word yet, but I kind of expected that given it's a weekend. Hopefully hear back soon, and if not I'll start pestering them some more.

Thanks. I got sick of waiting on support and took matters into my own hands. I was also sick of the old theme, so why not kill two birds with one stone? I may find another one that's better but we'll see how this one goes for a while.

I believe I've managed to weed out issues with the forum (and wiki too). If anyone experiences more errors or oddness, please let me know.

Thanks @DCurrent, the change of forum messed up "the sign in trough social media" option for my account, i wonder if other users used that option...
Currently i have a problem updating the NS thread - the videos have to be updated, but it seems that the original post has way too many characters.
i can't edit the first post at all.
I was wondering if you or any of the admins have a way to expand a single thread post to 3 or 4 (turn the first post into 1st 2nd 3rd & 4th post) so all the information can fit?

That's the way the forum works and not much I can do to change it. You are meant to click on the date (just below title) and it takes you to the last post.

There's no such option. That said, the character limit is 50K 10K, so you must have one heck of a huge post if you can't edit. Why don't you post the error you are getting and maybe I can take a closer look.

DCurrent, thanks , that seemed to have done the trick, in fact after i edited one of the vidoes to the new format , the others seemd to have followed on their own​
