Games with release dates TBA...if ever!

Hahaha I've been waiting for Bushiden for YEARS!!! Apparently there's a none backer demo available soon.

I see your post and raise you

I'm legit gonna die before they release this game.

That Savior trailer video looks more like animated pixel art in a video with game mockup in it. I honestly doubt the finished game could be that smooth. Even if it could, it would take lots of animations.
OTOH Bushiden trailer video is more realistic when it comes to animations. The finished game could be as detailed as shown in the trailer.

Savior is truly impressive in terms of dodging and animation.
Perhaps they were too ambitious which made the game (very) difficult to finish.
Well, rather than waiting, why not start producing the game you want ;)

With Way of Martial Arts, I would have liked to create a game close to this atmosphere and I will certainly return to this project at one point or another :) :

I'm most definitely doing so with my Openbor passion projects, I dropped playing games like I use to, life.
I'm once I nail the creating characters then it's on to levels.
I'm looking to replicate Fight n rage level of content but with the MVC,CVS 2 sprites.
SORX does this rather well so there is hope for me regarding the branching paths.

You got the a unique look with your game.
It's the only 2D vs game on Openbor that I know of.

Devs Takin their sweet ass time with Scramble Vice
There can be multiple reasons why a game struggles to progress.
First, be wary of trailers that can give the illusion of a game being well advanced when it's only two or three mechanics implemented, or even be filled with fake gameplay sequences to attract both backers and potential players.

I would be very surprised if developers take a good time as a presupposition and if their creation struggles to come out, it is because there may be financial problems or a clear artistic direction of the game etc...

I actually checked their steam page, they have an estimated release date for 2026.
