Very good use of JUS sprites, however, I noticed they all have Kenshiro as base, maybe changing their structure and face a little bit?

Cool! I love the comic adventure :D

My suggestion is colorize every interactible objects in comic world. It's hard to tell objects which can be hit and which can't; colorizing will solve this. Also with enemies colorized when active, it gives impression that other things will need to be colorized too before player can interact with them
That includes switchable doors and platforms too
Other suggestion is to have destroyed panel borders to leave broken or ripped border. This would look cool if implemented ;)

I think the opposite. Its cool to make the user to guess what to do, it makes the game harder and give it a "prince of Persia" feeling.

I like the variation so far ,it makes the game not a bor clone. But I like the Jus stage way more than the beat em up stage.

Thank you guys for feedbacks! i take now a global view of this stage, and i will come to it later to see what i must change or not.
(i really want to do the road rash stage now, to not loose my motivation)


but i noticed everything:

-changes some faces (right they're all kenshiro as base), maybe juza and ryuga mainly.

- for the colorize, nice idea (indeed some barrel are panel), but as "O" i like the way to be "free". I will see that with hindsight.

-for the panel borders, i already tested it (taking those from bwwd battletoad), but i was not convinced.




 
I prefer Taka Michinoku over these guys, but anyway, if there are other guys to be sprited, use Sakigake JUS sprites, they are similar to the Hokuto JUS sprites. both bulky

Hulkamania is just a single grain of sand in the Sahara desert that is MACHO MADNESS, OOH YEAH!

and i can confess that you're the one who gave me idea of this platform stage. I saw a topic on your unelmia game (sprite contest), played it, and decide to make one too  :P

(hope you'll continue your game btw  ;) )

To me, a multiplicity of gameplay type is always welcome in a mod.

Well, in this video, there's no animated decoration yet so you can pretty much guess that animated B/W objects can be interacted with. However once you added animated B/W decorations, you need to tell players which ones are decorations & which aren't and colorize is the solution :)

I posted that cause I notice that barrels can be kicked but crows are ignorable. OTOH in treasure room near exit, I notice some colored and B/W items are pickable but the skeleton next to it can't be picked. If you colorize them, there won't be this confusion :)

The only exception is secret, if you want to hide breakable walls or objects, yes, leaving them in B/W color is fine :D

@bloodbane: i got your point, i will see that for the colorize, how it looks in game. (but not sure yet  :P)


I decide to make a (small) pause for now on this project, making the 2d stage gave me others ideas.

You're welcome. I know I'm late on this, but thanks, and glad that you like Unelmia. Also, glad to help on it. You spelled "Unelmia" (pronounced oo-nelmy-ya) correctly.

I see you're putting it on hold so I can wait for your HnK updates.

That's Silent Dragon. It more or less sucked, but had a certain charm.

after 3 years, this project is not dead!  :)
the road rash stage is still on his way, all heroes sprites finished, time to code now  ::)
