Late night WTF. LoL

So, i went to be early tonight because i told god my plans and he laughed.
I'd have been fine had my brain not been like "nah buddy ur nappin" once again. What makes it notable is that I fell asleep with silent hill on the pause menu and the window open. What makes it funny is that my television powered down the screen while leaving the music on. I awoke to an icy chill and chattering whispers in the darkness of my room... IN DOLBY F'N SURROUND SOUND.
It was such a brain 'splode moment I couldn't not share it.  ;D

LOL Now that's the funny and crazy part I've ever heard. LOL Something like you're in a horror movie having some things automatic. That must be crazy! LOL

One question I forgot to ask you Vyck before I posted mine: When did the window open? Was it before you went to sleep or was it after?

;D How was your dream? did you get nightmares?
Really, having music listened during sleep could change your dream ;)

I was playing Silent Hill Downpour. When the controller disconnects from lack of activity on an Xbox, The game goes into a creepy pause menu. It begins ever so quietly. Over time you begin to hear these slowly chattering whispers.
It's blistering cold in NYC right now, but it was incredibly hot in my apartment. Sandy hit us pretty hard, so many of the utilities are still not working correctly. My window is very loose and gradually closes itself, so I figured I could just leave it open a crack.
I fell asleep playing the game, the window never closed, and the heat shuts off at random times for long periods. The TV normally shuts off when idle for too long. I guess someone changed the setting, so the screen was off but the surround sound was still on. It was the perfect recipe for comedy.
When I woke up I had forgotten I was playing anything. The TV "looked" like it had shut off. For about 5 minutes, the whispers were coming from everywhere and nowhere. I sat up confused and super freaked out until I recognized the track loop and noticed the 360 was still on.

As pertains to dreaming, I sometimes get sleep paralysis. It happens when you wake up, but your brain tells your body you're still dreaming. You'll be awake more or less, but almost completely unable to move. It's like trying to swim through cold peanut butter. Thankfully, this did not happen last night or I'd have had to do some serious laundry.  ;D
