Project is halted prior to completion and will not receive further updates.
i have arcade cap and avengers ultron, and i will use it... im just waiting for movie :)

about hulkbuster:
- i love the ideia to change armor with radio, but i was not happy with stealth mode, he was more fast, but in general i tink regular ironman better.
...
avengers movie trailler pushed me to sprite hulkbuster.
atm i have no plans to change sprites, but i can change my mind before another future release....
 
awesome video, but teasing us with that Hulkbuster VS Hulk image on the cover was evil. :p
Sprites look ok, though the colors seem wrong because of the sunset screen effect.
Just one suggestion: increase z range of Propulsor Blast special - it should affetc every one within radius (even small one), but it doesn't hit enemies directly "above/below" the Hulkbuster, while punches seem to work.

im testing all modes, now they have MARVEL item, radio and life orbs
(x-men dont have radio because it is a full 2d mode and i dont want to make npc care about wall or holes, asgard dont have MARVEL to avoid loki vs loki)
.. i tink release should be in 2 or 3 days.

i tink i need more days... since i have friendly fire enabled.....
then i can add LAND anims, use autoland 1, and then we can have attacks like colossus throwing wolverine at enemis..... :)

I see you blocked X-Men from going to desert stage (grayed out icons). Nice.

I was thinking about earlier comment I made about replay mode replacing normal mode, and I *think* it  actually could be done. My knowledge of OpenBor coding is poor, so I could be entirely wrong, but hear me out.

First, you split the replay "hub" (the one where you select stages) into as many stages as you have, but each one has only the levels you have completed and the next one. So the first Hub Stage only has Madam Hydra unlocked, the second Hub has Madam Hydra and Omega Red, and so on. Each time you kill a boss you go to next hub, so you can select any stage you've completed before, or go to next one.

Since all chars you unlocked are loaded into memory, you can select new heroes when playing older stages. Danger Room could be accessed through these Hub Stages - maybe even extra modes.

I think when you go back to a previous level you'd have to either load a specif replay stage (like the ones you have now) or use some branching script to see if you have defeated that boss before, otherwise you'd be sent to a hub with less stages. For instance, if you're on Hub4 and go back to Stage1, after beating Viper, you should be sent back to Hub4, and not Hub2 (which you'd be sent after finishing her for the first time).

There's one problem I haven't figured (but I think it would be solved by setting variables) which is Loading game after dying. Instead of loading back to where you died, you should go back to latest hub, with minimum amount of Lives (which would be something like 3).

Maybe there's an easier way to do it (I think Pierwolf's Castlevania mod had something like this, and studying Bloodbane/CountMonte's D&D mod when it comes out will possibly give answers to this).

Could this work? Maybe there's something your coding uses that will not work with this - and I'm not even sure you like this approach.

I just thought it would be interesting. :)

well, honestly, I don't like that change - I don't even like when you throw enemies and they hit your friends.
but that won't be so bad for me, as I usually play alone.

so many updates...but ohh so cool
question about verses mode...I don't have any friends either to really take advantage of that...so is it possible to fight cpu/ai.

on another note are iron man's missles homing or no, because I thought you said homing but in the video they look like they just went straight ahead or missed.

I already gave it this classic a 5/5 but with new updates to characters and adding few new ones I might do a mini-review on it when its released if that's ok with you zvitor?

great, and this time, for the first time, i did a what is new list:

varsion 2.7 updates:
- new chars Iceman and DarkHawk added to game
- added to story mode: more 1up itens and more life orbs.
- Incressed points value to gain life to 100.000.
- added cloak/dagger and scarlet witch like item npc
- new npcs: Shadowcat, Wonderman, Dazzler and Blade
- several changes at leadership chars status to fit it
- added friendly fire to make 2, 3, 4 players game more dificult, you can turn off at options but some projectiles still hit friends.
- added VERSUS mode, just a clean room to fight against your friends.
- cheats can be enabled at options
- added items, radios to extra modes
- radio added to danger room to test your leadership there.
- added knockback resistence to though enemys
- 1 sec of invenciblility after knockback to all chars
- double value to healing factor, and work at idle and walk
- added air jump control (right - left) to agility 3-4 (it may help at holes on 2d levels)
- changes at nebula and dr.doom AI to control they off screen time
- added a HUD element to show when you have the MARVEL item
- no more pause at ant-man texts
- fix english text errors
- reorganized char grid, and somes changes at roster of special modes
- story mode restricting chars at some missions
chars changes:
- vision had a new jump attack and special, also his grabattack make robots shock other enemys.
- added arrow to hawkeye run attack and incressed hawkeye speed of shot arrows anims.
- new anim to hawkeye jump.
- Ironman have a better DF+A when MP bar is full and hulkbuster armor replace stealth armor.
- add pain to archangel projectiles and incressed his run speed and distance of his dive attack.
- replaced wolverine F,F+A  multi-hit to a knockback attack.
- replaced no-claw-wolverine special  to multi-hit attack.
- incressed invisible woman default attacks range.
- incressed wasp projectiles range and added knockback to her dive.
- incressed mr.fatastic basic attacks range and speed.
- new attack to nick furry run attack, and old become his attack2.
- incressed shot speed of nick fury gun mode.
- Nick special at gun mode is summon a agent.
- fixed jubilee radio sound.
- punisher revamp with several moves changes.
- cable is no more a shooter, he have regular punchs, so change shots to be other moves.
- blackcat walk on her special.
- incressed range of emma projections.
- new grabattack2 to beast.
- jump 4 to black panther.
- added grabattack to spiderman, cap america, beast, miss marvel, black panther and venom
 
Thats a big list of updates z, I think if its not too much work to add it maybe in the your next update after this one you could make the danger room into like a survival mode mini-game or something just a thought I had when you mentioned adding radios to the danger room

julia is my favorite spider-woman, i would like try her playable in future, maybe using psylocke.
 
I had a WIP of Jessica Drew (the best Spider-Woman  :P )

I won't be able to finish it this year. Do you want to see it? Maybe you (or someone else) could finish her...

I can send it as .XCF (GIMP) or .PSD(Photoshop).
