Orchid looks BEAST!!!!! superb job by putting her in the game and the moves looks cool as hell.

Man, I like what you did.
She's really a masterpiece! Good moveset including the badass FATALITY!
I really love her way of countering knife!

Only her run animation seems a little off to me.
The static upper body is not a problem, it give her a good style, but perhaps you can give it a little life hair moving, clothes, breast?...

Perhaps not that much, but this is the idea... ::)

I was really waiting for this character, she finally is a reality!

Thanks to all my friends!

You right about the running animation my friend.  I try to make an update in the animation,  but not easy task.

I loved what you did with the knifes! She can rebound the knifes, its pretty cool.
About the stage, it needs fixes. First, the water drops should go all the way close the horizon. Second, the trees would need some animations. Third, I think you could add some water animations on the floor.

Thanks my friend.
The warher drops is simple an error, because I use this stage for testing.
I see the error after the upload the video, but the important is show the gameplay of Orchid.
About the trees, I don't  know,  because this background dont have any animations on the trees. The look is the original. I put only the warher drops, the others elements are of this original stage.

I like. You did a very great job with Orchid right there! Using scripts is and proves a lot more helpful and flexible than hard-coded non-scripts when you want to make things very interesting. Quite fun, isn't it? At least you're learning scripts, the more you learn, the more effort you will have with your ideas.

Thanks my friend!

No doubt about the scripts, all the impossible turns possible with the right script and a very good idea.

Vid looks good, I like seeing how games evolve and improve. Keen to play it.

Can I make a request that van dames sprites be used in this game ? Don't call him Guile maybe ''JC'' he would be a cool playable character even with some palette changes, I was going to make a van damme fan game but don't even have the time for my own projects.

Plan to use sprites Van damee edited, for use in the last gang, a group of milirary bikers.

Indeed. Scripting is more serious than non-scripted commands. LOL

*Fixed/Corrected in bold*

You could edit his face to look less Van Damme if you wanna edit him as a unique enemy character. I think you know what to do.

I think edit the head, changing with the head of Jhonny Cage with glasses.
And then adjust the skin color.

Honestly, I never liked sprites Balrog from Street Fighter The Movie.
The actor who plays him, need more muscles to be a decent Balrog.
So finally do a full update of Balrog.
From the portrait to each of the sprites, everything is new.
It maintains practically the same movements, but with a completely fresh look.
I hope you like, because for me it's perfect.
It was worth it, so much work ...

Orchid have some new sprites in the run animation.
You can see the breast and hair move.

Here 'Balrog:

Hi there! I just wanted to say that this is by far the best game I have seen made with OpenBOR and I love and appreciate all the hard work you're putting into this game! :)

I did have a question though, and I feel guilty for asking it :( Is there any hope of having all of the original Mortal Kombat Trilogy characters playable, similar to the way Super Final Fight Gold had all of the Street Fighter II characters? I understand this would be a lot of work and that it is selfish of me to ask for more content but a Mortal Kombat beat 'em up with all of the old characters available is something that I have dreamed about since I was a kid, and I imagine a lot of others have too :) It's just so exciting for me and I think this game could really be something special. The replay value would increase immensely with a large roster of familiar characters :)

In particular, I would love to see Jade, as a lot of her moves and fatalities would be great for a beat'em up, and her staff could be a very awesome weapon to implement. The human and cyborg ninjas could be really cool as well but I think you mentioned you already planned to do Scorpion and Sub-Zero :)

I love the game and looking forward to the next playable demo. Keep up the amazing work :)

Kindest regards,
Kyle

Thanks to all my friends for your support!

To Kyle Reedman:

Thanks for all your words my friend.
I think the same about icrease the number of playable characters. For now I try to focus in finish the stages and release the next demo.
As you say, Scorpion and SubZero be in the game as playable characters and like bosses too, no doubt about that.
But I never close the door about increase the number of playable characters.
Maybe when finish the mod, my next step would be add all possible characters to make the game better to play.
So just wait...

I liked what you are making my friend, but there is something which bothers me: the difference between frame count in all characters.
Looks how many frames Orchid has in her walking. Now looks how much the Bodyguard has. Now look how much Balrog has. He has way more than Bodyguard. This clases a lot.

I think you should remove some frames from Balrog animations.

The walk animation of Balrog was a big problem to me.
Like the others characters with many frames, I try to remove half of frames in their walk animation.  But in the specific case of Balrog,  the walk animation with the half of the original frames, looks very rare.
So finally decide use all the original frames in the walk animation,  because Balrog walk's is not like the other characters.
