Also the default flashing KO is always jarring, but it REALLY hurts here with robots. Especially the big ones. Have them explode perhaps. Doesn't have to be super dramatic, a quick boom and out of there would do it. You can have them disappear with no flash, and spawn a generic explosion entity over them.

Ok, aside from some other notable changes I made, I went ahead and pasted the hit flash I use in Sonic Revolution as it's more visible, and gave Metal Gear a death animation since I also thought he should have it to.This method was used multiple times in Sonic Revolution so I just had to rearrange the effects and make the explosion bigger.
I didn't do that at first because I'm entering this and Sonic Revolution to the SAGE expo and I found out late that the deadline to submits is less then 24 hours from now so I'm in a rush. I managed to get the important stuff done so I figured I could do this.

EDIT: Due to specific reasons, Beast Mode and Gundams are the only selectable chars in their respective set. I didn't do this for Cosmic Damage  cause that set has a random set of characters anyway.

Played and:

* Axl's specials don't fire off anything
* There's still Space Pirates in Cosmic Damage, even though your stance on Nintendo content has changed (also, some other creators have still used some degree of Nintendo stuff)
* The character restriction system is very glitchy, it sometimes locks me out of characters even in the unlimited modes.
 
The first 2 points I've fixed and now testing, the glitchy select menu could be out of my hands since I did everything I needed to with it and had not experienced any problems and I went to those sets multiple times with it in place.

(also, some other creators have still used some degree of Nintendo stuff)

I'm aware, however my stance isn't just out of fear of having my mods put down, it's the principle of the matter. I may still play their games but I simply don't like how they treat their own fanbase that way, though some of them may defend it.

Also, I completely forgot those pirates were from Metroid, I've only played one of it's GBA games for a few hours and tried Super Metroid once.

I made a showcase for this game:
It's not quite my cup of tea but it felt well programed and the characters were engaging to play ^_^.

It took me way too long to realize you were the same developer for Sonic Revolution and Sega Brawlers. I'm so dumb, lol.
 
Cool. Yeah, the game is not really a crossover but I'm taking all of my other ideas and old projects and putting them in this mod for the purpose of working on all of them at onc or at least having more motivation to work on them without going back and fourth between different mods. Cosmic Damage for example was the 2nd mod I started back in my early days, Beast Mode is my on take on Pokemon, and Gundam vs Monsters is a new idea of mine wanted to act on.

Case in point this is not meant to be taken as a serious mod but a collection of ideas all put into one place, kinda like this demo or preview discs they used to have for 2 generations ago that were just full of demos and videos and not a whole game if you ever saw them.

Just finished the video, actually got a chuckle out of your commentary and criticisms, it's all cool though, I know not everything I do is a crowd pleaser.  8) Again though, don't take this as a serious mod, this is just a bunch of random s*** I want to do, and as you can see, I just do it. The thing with a bunch of enemies being on screen though is mainly due to me liking my games to be more chaotic and taking cues from Treasure Games(Gunstar Heroes), where the enemies come in hordes but die quickly.

Ah, yes I did :) I was a 90's kid so Playstation magazine was filled with them!

That makes a lot more sense now. I wish I'd tried the Beast Mode on camera now since I used to be a big Pokémon fan!

I'm guessing the Sonic game will continue to be a standalone project?

Yeah me to, currently on and off a hack that replaces the Pokemon with Digimon, but I haven't played a real Pokiemon game since Ruby, aside from 2 mystery dungeon games. I like the concept a lot but the brand itself is really stale. Oh, keep in mind what I did with Beast Mode, fighting with your monsters, was done with Azure Dreams(PS1) and Monster Tale(DS)

Yes, the one in this mod is for a different project.

Of course, it's one of the reasons why I'm making this.

I decided to do a little work this past weekend and new characters, only one so far is actually in the game but he still needs work. My main Darkstalker, John Talbain!


Been wanting to do a mod with him for years, and now I've finally did something with him.  ;D

Well there's a lot but as far as Darkstalkers goes, my second favorite is Lord Raptor, and I have multiple plans for him so there's that. I'm reluctant on adding MK chars because I'm doing enough sprite mixing as it is.

I've now have sprites for all 3 Biker Mice so Vinnie and Modo will show up one day. Other chars I plan on working on after Talbain are below.

EDIT: Guess it's worth noting I made progress with Talbain, I just need to put together the dragon he summons for his special, other then that he's done, and I guess it would be fitting to have him fight on the stage based on Exiles, lol.

Can't get through to the site, something is up with my version of flash so it only halfway works, but I've seen MK sprites like what you described before, I can't remember the name of the site though but I often end up there looking for Marvel characters.

Yeah this is alive, lol, I haven't posted an update in 2 weeks but I've been working little by little on this ever day except weekends and days off work(2 TV's, Netflix and gaming).
