I cant promise anything but i will see if i can get a mac vitual machine setup i might be able to help work on this port.

Well i tried 5 or 6 years back a mac vitual machine and besides that it was difficult to setup in first place, once i managed to get it to work i very quickly realized that it was almost impossible to be able to use xcode because apple had set many blockades in the way. So i can only imagine this situation got only worse by now.
Now if you meant to do other things than xcode it might be worth the shot, but if your intention is xcode i think it will be a waste of your time.
Also if you have a github account you could ask the guy if he could at least just compile what is there(since he added touch controlls too) and we can just test that.

Oh and one more thing. You can also install OpenBOR on the latest iOS version But with a PC and Sideloadly. Since Trollstore is not an option for iOS 16 on my phone, this time i installed OpenBOR with Sideloadly. The downside to that is that we have to reregister the app every 7 days with the use of pc and Sideloadly. Also with Sideloadly the app is not full screen for some reason.
So Trollstore is the way to go, but if your device iOS version is not compatible with it, then Sideloadly is better than nothing and it works with the latest iOS at least:

@magggas please test this ipa it should be a unsigned version of openbor just make sure the device you install to is at least ios 11 or greater.

I don't have high hopes of this working but lets see.

@msmalik681 Thanks for the try, i tested on both my devices and it did not work sadly. With the trollstore wich can instal anything on my ipad it got installed but the app would not open. On my iphone using the Altstore it would not even installing and gave me the error of "invalid app".

Another strange thing is that when i downloaded the app on my pc it was an ipa file, while when i tried to download it directly from my ios devices it was downloaded as zip file (playload.ipa.zip) which is very unusual and normaly not happening when i download ipas on my devices. Maybe the compiling was not done correctly?

Edit: After remembering that Altstore does not normally work with the other Openbor ipa that i'm already using as well with the same error, i had to try Sideloadly (another signing software) which i demonstrated on my latest video that it works. So the result with that was that it did installed but again the app does not open.

Bollocks !! Oh well back to the xcode drawing board.

Just to confirm your devices are running ios 11 or higher yes ?

Yes, my ipad is on ios 15.3 and my iphone on ios 16.2.
Thank you for your effort man! I really hope that you can make it happen!

i have a iphone 6 but i need to jailbreak it I will get back to you soon.
As far as i know it should not be hard to jailbreak this and it should be good enough for your testing purposes and of course i'm also eager to help with testings too!

I have not jailbroken yet looking for a pc-less method
Hm.. i asume you are between ios 11 - 12.4.8 . So the only way to do this without a pc is to try to instal the jailbreak tool via some third party website that has ipas to download and install directly from your ios device. Those always are having the jailbreak tools but the instalations are not always working as their dev certificates are getting revoked from time to time. You just have to try a few until you find the one that will install you unc0ver v8.0.2.

I am stupid I was on 12.5.1 that could have been untethered but i upgraded to 12.5.6 now i can get tethered but as i don't use windows I am looking for a direct on the phone jailbreak.

Ah yeah, now i remember you are a linux user. Well If you don't want to mess with the third party websites to install you the jailbreak tool on your device, then you can use the virtual mac machine to download the unc0ver v8.0.2 ipa from their official site and then you can use Altstore or better Sideloadly on the virtual mac to install the jailbreak ipa on your device.
This is the fastest and safer way i would say.

Problem is when i try to passthrough usb on my iphone6 it does not work so im looking into a full hackintosh that will speed things up i hope.

Yeah, now that you mention that i also remember this usb situation from my attempts to use virtual mac. Well then your only options are the hackintosh and/or the third party websites installation solution i mentioned.

Then there is also the dream on the horizon of 2024 that Apple will supposedly allow sideloading on ios due to an EU law as reported in this video. We see if that really even happens:

Funny how I was iOS enthusiast starting from iOS 3.x days but more or less gave up when they released iOS11 (to which I never updated my tablet - I just had too much 32-bit apps I needed ). So I went into PSP (and, eventually, Vita as well) AFTER I went through my "apple touchscreen" phase of life, lol.

Though I still use it for all those synths and drum machines.

I dont have a apple developer account so maybe i am exporting it wrong. Don't suppose anyone here has a developer account ?

Yeah, that must be it, you need at least a free developer account. I do have a free developer account which is basicaly my main apple id. You can also simply make your apple id as an free developer account. Just login here first with it and then after it's done login with it on xcode. Then you should be good to go.

You can also check here for some more information about what you can do with it and its limitations.
