First of all, I am re-working on this game that I had previously worked on. This is a selection screen, and it creates layers according to language to make it easier to work with.
In addition to that, we started to move forward by modifying the music as well.
We will apply the experience we learned from King of Rage here to make it more robust.
 
Are health bars optional!?
You could always have the enemy in a different stance when low health.
What's you goal for this game!?
 
Nice, I like the fact the player jumps into the back wall :)
There is just one thing that bothers me: the style of the hitflash clashes a lot with the game graphics :(

Excluding that, keep the good work :)

Changed the details of the background.
Previously, the shadowed building walls were painted black, but now they have been changed to a darker building color. In addition, various changes are being made, such as changing the shape.

I'm creating a clothing style.
I've currently created 8 types, but since the enemy designs only apply to the left side, I wanted to create enemies with more diverse designs.

I liked the idea, but this makes the backgrounds to look more 16bit, while the characters are still in 8bit.

If you go on this route, it would be better to change the characters border to a darker color too instead of black
