hey man!

ill see if i can get them during the week, i have been meaning to get those animations restored to the game for some time now, & for some stupid reeason i keep putting it off....
No rush at all. I’ll be taking my time in between work and school. I watched a video of the arcade when I realized those two animations were missing. Night Slashers is truly a fun game with the throwback animations to the horror genre.

You know I've been thinking about making new side step animations for plane shifting like Guardian Heroes or MMPRTM from King of Fighters 96/97/98 or Fatal Fury 2/3/Real bout. Mai's plane shift animation (Fatal Fury 2) would look really good for Sailor Mars. For the KOF it's the one where when your character goes dizzy then your background character participates like a striker.

If you could rip those animations I could edit them.

@rgveda99 I like the double-jumping that @Bloodbane added by pressing up up or down down command. What are your thoughts on having Sailor Mercury read a book?

From my own point of viw such an animation would break the game "speed" because it's a very "wide" move.
It would be better to give them something similar to what is used in Realbout FF series,

Basically some animation like regular jump or hopback frames, but with Z velocity would be perfect.
And would not break the game dynamysm

Fatal fury 2's anymaton tho change of plane was an error to me. Too much slow down, very wide Z axis jump animation.
Not a surprise they completely changed it in FF3 and RB series.

Just my opinion.
I'm not the best person to give it.

2 more sprites left. I'll try if I can finish tomorrow or wednesday. Thank goodness she had these sprites in the S fighting game and only had 5 sprites to work with instead of 12.

It's not Bloodbane. It's Shinmrgrill.

He's had 2 accounts there already.
I've had the same problem logging in at Discord. It would sometimes make a new account. I already made 3 accounts under the same username.
For some reason I don't get that problem clicking the upper right 'Log In' button.

Not sure if it still is a problem but best not to log in with the main 'Log In' button. I'm assuming he's having the same problem.

Utilizing the forum works for me due to school, work, and family. It's much easier to reply to a message. Love your Sailor Mercury Sprite. I'm going to edit the sprite for the flow of her feet. You'll see :) Other than that, still slowly working on Sailormoon Openbor. Bloodbane made a magnificent update the other day. But were not to share it yet. I want to complete the new stages as a set.

it seems that the walking from the door frames for the wolf & ax man consist of 4 frames, but they may consist of tile combos to complete them using recycled torso sprites
BonuzJZ made improved animations for NSX, that have more frames...
another thing i noticed by analizing a 60pfs video of NIghtslashers japan. is that axman is too tall for typical doorframes, and the original game seems to give its back walls in the dungeon level a "plane" this means that after he goes trough the door's threshold, his sprite correctly goes over the door frame & floor.

you can see for yourself frame by frame on this veideo - but you need an extension called "enhancer for youtube" in order to go frame by frame using the . & , keys.

Ok. I give up. It is not done but you can have anyone make a better edit for his icon pain. The reference is from ssf2 sagat lose portrait but it's up to someone to finish it.

I am okay if it's WiP and unfinished, just wondered if there's a playable updated version of the... only (?) Sailor Moon game that uses the Arcade sprites.

It's longer than you think. There's been a Sailor Moon WIP in one form or another since BORGeneration Forums all the way back in 2006, and probably well before that. Anyway, there's no demo of this project I know of, but the best thing to do is always tag the people you are asking so they notice: @Shinmrgrill, @rgveda99, or @maxman should know something.
