Punisher : World Warzone (Discussion)

Wrapping up production on Blob & Pretty Boy for this update. I've squashed most of the problems with their transformations & am pretty happy with the outcome. I'll probably spend the next few days tweaking their damage, energy & compatibility with the rest of the roster. The next update for the game should be ready for release in 2 to 3 weeks.

Bloodbane Once you cast the hyper team-up for the Flame Golem, Blob jumps out of the screen & you are now in control of the Golem. You can cast the hyper again & Blob will jump back in combat. Pyro can't be hit during this because I just need him to walk around concentrating on controlling the Golem. The Golem cannot be thrown & you will get damaged if you try to grab him. Got any more questions let me know.

nedflandeurse Blob was a little boring before so hopefully this will make him a little more fun. Thanks for the comments as always.
 
Hey buddy, something I found funny about Pretty Boy - the way it grabs the enemy.
If you pause the video at 0:17, you will notice that blob is being held standing still on the air. He should be on an horizontal position, using the sprites from the 5070 group.
Kinda like KFM does when he throws someone.
 
Thanks i'll get the fixed asap. I also got the team lifebars fixed that you mentioned from the last update.
 
O Ilusionista Ok cool. I'll try to get you the game as soon as possible. Right now i'm focusing in on trying to get everyone compatible with Pretty Boy & Blob's transformations.

If anyone wants to try the Punisher game over the internet with me on Parsec then hit me up & well give it a try. I have yet to use Parsec but I now have it downloaded & looking to try it out.
 
Here are two new interactive stages that will be in the next update. If all my bug testing goes well the next update should be ready next weekend. I'll also release the Streets of Rage 2 stage that's in the video on Tuesday if anyone is interested in it.

 
Nice work with the inclusion of another EC finisher. Also,  I think since the flames are blue in the Sentinel factory they should burn victims blue.

That was my first thought, but then I relember of the stove flame - which is blue but burns red.
 
Falcondurap made a Haggar using the FF1 sprites that gave him some kick animations, maybe you'll want to ask him for permission to use them. Or at least use them as reference. I get what you did by using Omega Red's voice. I can tell Bear's got a solid air game by using his Jet assist to intercept players.
 
Finishing up production of R. Bear so I thought i'd post another preview video of the progress. Only thing that needs to be added is a team-up hyper with his partner Jet.

Ha ha. Wolverine don't care either. He will slice opponents to pieces & still sleep good at night. :D
 
Impressive how you have recreated a good chunk of his Alpha series moves. Would his jutte be an alternate mode?

Me too. But I’d be fine with him being an unplayable early version in the next update so you can concentrate on him after that, like with Mizuki.
