I know the second image is the original one, but it doesn't makes much sense: the upper area has a 45 degree perspective (You can tell this from the angle of the shadow, especially on the sink, while the floor is straight).

About the color, it depends on whether you want to focus - the cyan version leaves all the focus on the yellow wall, as it is in a color that contrasts with the rest of the colors. The pink version makes everything more colorful, diluting the focus.

I would go with the pink option, B.

Yes, the perspective was bothering me a little, that’s why I was putting that checkered floor, but now seeing it, the pattern was too big and not fitting to that small room.

Initially I was going to keep the cyan for the boys toilet, but now I’ll go with your edits better 😬
I’ll keep the cyan for the boys toilet and one of the pink ones for the girls toilet. Only difference between both rooms is that boys toilet has urinals instead of sinks 😆

Here’s a small gameplay video with some updates.
I’m using cyan for male bathroom and pink/white for girls’. You can see them in action at around 9:40 on the video linked below. William999 I added the “GO”, check at around 7:12

Since last update the only weapon I have added is the gun for the zombie mode. So far the weapons are these, for a total of 10 weapons:
Knuckle, steel bar, oil drum, trash can, knife, dodge ball, bicycle, motorcycle, chain, gun and maybe I’m forgetting one more. I’ll add baseball bat and maybe a stone.

I still need to add/change many attacks for both heroes and enemies.

As usual on my projects, heroes have different idle/walk depending if there are enemies on sight. I was thinking to add a different idle when a boss or certain enemy appear, but I think I need script for that? It’s not a priority but it’s an idea I have revolting around that I have never seen in a game.

I need to add about 4 new stages including a traditional elevator stage, work on improve enemies and heroes a little, and a new demo will be out.

If someone can rip some voice clips from 3DS would be great. The emulator didn’t work on my laptop so I wasn’t able to.

I liked the spinning grab, its pretty cool. And I loved the idea of you need to have money to buy the cola from the cola machine, awesome idea!

Maybe I am not used to the game, but I found a bit confusing the damage text color with the money color and I thought for a second that the damage were money you get (then I realized the coins are the money). But maybe it's me.

Custom grabs and throws gives better feeling to some Openbor mods.

it's more a personal thing, but I always like to add at least a front layer on the stages, as this brings more depth to it.

Another idea: you could add a iconpain to your character (maybe editing the face to display pain, like an open mouth)

Yeah the vending machine is too big. Originally it was much bigger and I’ve been reducing the size more and more lol but yeah it’s a good point and a bridge I’ll need to cross again.
Some stages do have foreground elements but in lacking in that department. I will not add to the stage in the video in particular, as I want it to be close to the spirit of the original, but the upper part of electricity post/pillars (sorry don’t know the English name for those) could be. Can’t add bushes or parked cars because the other side of the street is below than the area displayed supposedly. But I will do add more foreground elements in other stages “not canon” so they don’t look too empty. Actually the 1st stage I did on my 1st attempt with Openbor, my old very bad project VCR, had fglayer with parked cars and columns. I got lazy after that lol

About the iconpain, that’s a good idea. I’ll see how it looks!
 
Another update:
Following feedback by Ilu, I put iconpain and icondie on Kunio as a test. I think I’ll use the icondie sprite as iconpain and scrap the inconpain in the video below :)

I added foreground on the testing stage in the video. Originally was empty.
I modified the vending machine to make it smaller, but it’s not in the video.

As you can see, initially you go through the stage as on most beat’em ups, once you defeat the enemies, paths will open, you can go and come.


Question: I want to give Riki some different grabs and not be copy/paste of Kunio 3 grabs anymore. My base are Bloodbane slamscript. Which Openbor game/mod has a Piledriver using Bloodbane’s?
