Well guys, I've been very proud to present our game community Saint Seiya Death and Rebirth PS2, when I started I had no idea what I was doing with the basics of system operation, it was clear what I had to do, CUT ... CUT AND cut off ...
Unfortunately as we all know there is a version of OpenBOR for PS2, only good old BOR who knows in the near future, someone watching this game animates help us make a version of it for us :)
Long months were adapting the game, many frustrations, days and nights without success, it was mistake after mistake, luckily the BOR for PS2 is very intuitive and if any command can not run it from a line of the error right away, were hundreds of commands withdrawn ...
Earlier edit characters and did not know if it was not for my friend Vellrath, we would not have a game with such beautiful animation and the idea of putting voices translated into PT BR also left him ...
Thank you so much for everything Vellrrath: D
From there began a long process of ripping the voices, create animations compatible with the BOR for the characters, and also small scenes between stages for better understanding of the history of the game ...
But because PT BR?
Well firstly because it is a game fans ... Saint Seiya or Knights of the Zodiac as we call here was the most successful anime in Brazil, higher up than Dragon Ball Z, responsible for several other series coming here, was almost a milestone, we can say that when it comes to anime here in Brazil, is AC and DC Saint Seiya, who lived or live here at that time know what I'm talking dozens of dolls and a true fever in the 90, 6 pm when transmitted here in the old station was almost headlines audience leader competing with other TV stations large as TV Globo.
So in celebration of 20 years of the series in Brazil, we bring this game to the fans, we will be passing below a brief description of the game:

features:
* 4 New Enemies Amazona, Brutamontes, Skeleton, Spectrum.
* 13 Phases
* 4 playable characters (Seiya, Shiryu, Shun, Hyoga)
* New Animations
* Music theme of the series
* Voices of voice actors PT BR

Well guys, hope you enjoy and please, any error that you can tell us, please do not hesitate to tell us and we'll be happy to correct it.

Here some pictures of the game:

Nice, thanks for sharing!
About a OpenBOR vesion for PS2, this won't be possible. PS2 have some limitations and nobody to work on that platform.

btw: I posted about this game in several Facebook pages/groups

after months of hard work finally it's done, man i can't belive, finaly, sometimes we almost give up, but in the end it's done, thanks everyone ho helped, every single word of incentive or no help to get here, was a challange and we win hahahaha, and in the future will have more saint seiya, i working on it right now.

BTW, does it have English translations aside from Portuguese? But anyway, congrats!

EDIT: Sorry bout that, I was in a hurry going to work and hadn't done my research.

Guys, let me be very straight:
Never, I said NEVER, NEITHER IN MILLION YEARS, say that a brazilian speaks spanish. This sounds very offensive to many of us (including me). We speak Portuguese. Note: if you are North American, this adds a bonus RAGE +50.

So, repeat after me:
Question - When do we say that a Brazilian speaks Spanish?
Answer - NEVER

Sorry bout that dude. I was in a hurry before going to work. I'm Filipino BTW, from the Philippines, so -25 to that. And sorry about being frank, but I'm actually f***'d up at work, so please be gentle ;)

Yeah, aren't we all.  ;D Anyway, the game looks very promising I could say to that. Liked the supermoves especially. As I remembered about Saint Seiya, it does capture the anime quite well, the backgrounds can attest to that, though they seem to look like from uncleaned up JPGs. The characters are solid, really true to the anime.

I'm going to give it a shot.

Hello guys, thanks for the good words, this is very important to continue the work, as I said at the beginning this is a fan game that was just a dream to play on the PS2, and living proof that if we have a dream and seek hard and fight for him one day can become reality: D

I'm a bit tight for time but I promise I'll do a version in English for general joy of the nation XD

Also intend to start fiddling with a basic version of OpenBOR for PS2, from Bor made by Neill Corlett, he already gave me the source of the BOR for PS2 by email and if you can improve some features of OpenBOR him as Spawn animations, Death would be really cool: D

Well guys thanks again for the support and everyone who enjoys the game!

You mean that you have the source for the PS2 porting of BOR? Has he given the permission to give the port for the community at least?

Anyway, back to the game, I actually played it on Windows and it's a nice game, I've been to the second level though (Chapter 2?) and I can say you guys did a very good job there.

Now for some critique, firstly the characters needs to be worked in the sequel. Primarily, I played as Seiya for my playthrough, his moveset's good, but his animation is clunky the least now that I played it. He also lacked of throwing animation, he's just standing there when the enemy is thrown out.

The giant enemies were good, they're hard to beat, but manageable. I liked that they whirlwind you and throw you out. Plus for me.

The backgrounds need finetuning. The second level, i stepped on empty space, I don't know if that's your intention or not, but it needs finetuning.

Story's good for the most part, a little understandable for people who understand the anime (even though it's Portuguese).

For an attempt to make a fan-made Saint Seiya game, it's worth it. Good job for taking a jab of that.
