just wanna show cody new moves, still unpolished.. what do you guys think?
Wow! I love what I see! Particularly the diversity of moves!
The new attack aniamtions would look better with more transition frames. Some advice
-The more the reach of a move is "wide" the more you need transition frames before the hitting frame and after the hitting frame.
-Always try to avoid the "only one limb moves and the rest of body dont" with an exception of jabs (in old games)
(Same for "only upper body moves, but now the legs etc)

Don't really understand with more transition frames, you mean more animation for 1 move?
that's hard job to do 🙃 🙃

As long it just 2 frames I still can get it done but more than that 😵‍💫

You’re pretty good at expanding characrer sprite sets, I like it. Perhaps you can also extend Poison’s sprites…

The new moves for Cody also seem pretty nice, but you do need at least 1 more transition frame.

I will, at least when I start working on the enemy to be playable

exactly as @NED suggestion, unfortunately I've had enough trouble making them into 2 frames 😵‍💫

not sure what's going on, player health bar becomes like this in 2 stages while the others are normal

normal health bar = yellow and red

player health bar turns black not red while enemy health bar just fine

Does this happen on stages that are over 240 pixels wide? because one of my stages uses a width of up to 481 pixels?

I can't remember how your life bars are set up, are you using a scripted lifebar? It might have something to do with setlayer or it could be something to do with how the stage is set up, no background or panel, if you want to send me the mod I'll have a better look and see what the problem is as it's been over I year since I last looked at your files.

Turns out the problem was in this setting
if it exceeds 248 then the health bar will turn black

Code:
z 207 249 160
z 197 248 260 --> I change the {zmax} to 248 and health bar turns normal

so I still not sure how to handle a stage that has a wide size

if you want to send me the mod I'll have a better look and see what the problem is as it's been over I year since I last looked at your files.
I have plan to send the file to you later when they're ready, yeah there is something else I want to ask your opinion
