hoping this "re-engineering" will be for the best of the mod
From starting over this mod work is going faster, because i took into account so much things i was doing wrong all this time. First of all it is sizing of characters according to level and walk areas, character design, exporting and editing sprites. Now i make blueprints of levels and draw them a little. I have reduce screen size, now it is 720x400. All is for the result fan compare screenshot of original SoR`s and mine and said "yes, this is SoR". 8) (long-term outlook, but i am die hard fan)

which are to be the selectable characters?
Axel, Blaze, Adam, Lita, Skate, Max, Zan, Shiva

Are you going to keep same OST as previous demos?
Some of them and new tracks.

About Lita, you could do something like Yuri in Kof XIII, with various leg variations

I guess the green part are just machine helmet to ressemble some of them are "enhanced" by Mr. Y!

I use Poser and export frame sequence as sprites and then apply palette to them.

Just one question.

Will there be anything significant in the gameplay department(besides special weapons)? Or will it just be like the classics?

I want to try something different from what i made in 2nd demo, now i am testing it.

I have some ideas for that, but now my goal is to finish SoR4 ;)

its easy to use for making sprites ?
I cant say for everyone, but if you have basic skills in 3d graphics (modeling, texturing, animating), photoshop (or just understanding of basic principles) this can make all process more convenient. This method have many underwater stones. For me most annoying step is to add drawing head and shoes to each sprite on the final steps of editing exported frames. But of course it depends on what project you work and what result/quality you want to reach.

I'm glad Adam are present in the final cut, Max and Zan too I really hope we have sweet surprises like a certain ninja can make his appearance...
