also i need to check other people mods, i sure some other people are already used those stages in other openbor games those can come in handy

i think i saw the port stage in crime buster2
and one of the final fights by mr.q have more burning fight too, not sure about the stage size

I must say that I loved the graphics for these games, the gameplay may have been slightly mediocre, but SNK were always spot on with their graphics.  Burning Fight has some great atmosphere.

I'd also recommend checking out Mutation Nation (Kyo Kusnagi's first game?) and Robo Army.

Man, Burning Fight deserves a remake in OpenBOR with proper controls, proper cutscenes and endings since the original ones were shit. That game had so much potential but it has "rushed down" written all over it.

I guess, by the meanwhile, the rips could be used for this ambitious mod. :)

yeah i will treat the entire burning fight locations as part of southtown, so maybe someone can use it as a remake inside streets of southtown world map

we already have duke in kof sprites and updated by 119way with some more frames, just need the other 2 to complete the burning fight heroes
i dontk know about the  burning fight original enemy graphics with changed palettes will match the kof style or will be too much off

The page made a huge mistake: that "enemies" sheet belongs to Karate Blazers, only the bosses sheets are from BF.
 
Yes, I've seen this problem.
An "old" problem.
They never fixed it... If there was a simple way to send a message or something, I would have pointed it out, but  :P

That's correct. I still have the ripped background of port stage including the warehouse part in original size. Hmmm... let me check if I have all parts of port stage

i need a head swap for brian and also one for goro daimon from mrq aof game

for brian add a helmet i think will be cool, he have only 44 sprites

for goro daimon i dont know what head will be cool on him to make him different maybe mukai head will be cool on him

It depends on what he does. If he does complex moves, it would be tough editing and finding proper head to be swapped. But if he does simpler ones, it should be easy

i wish, you could have special moves on a easy way to be performed. like on avsp or warrior of fate games. ;)

Your new goro edit is far better now!
The new skin tone is great.
Also, you should totally avoid using regular color, thince kof characters are really well known and recognizable (in color scheme)

Beware of color loss in skin tone.
Looks like new skin color miss some gradient steps.

my current plans are:

for aof 1 story just ryo and robert
for aof 2 story ryo robert yuri and takuma

for streets of southtown world map: ryo, robert, takuma ,yuri

secret characters: dan, kenshiro, marco rodrigues, mr karate, miss karate

then unlockables:
king (with her own adventure),
todoh and kasumi( with his own revenge adventure),
duke(from burning fight will be unlocked at king adventure)

for now will be those

I liked the characters, you are focused in the series Art Of Fighting, I would suggest if possible 2 more characters, The Temjin the Art of Fighting 2 or Jubei Yamada of fatal series fury, I know that Jubei escapes from its context, more would be a cool persangem to play, and from what I see is a character quite forgotten in games OpenBOR, excuse me if I suggested something that is out of your game patterns.
