White Dragon, I would like to know how you were able to construct the beach stage? What games did  you rip from? Can you mention the discernible links?

The stage itself is a vibrant work of art.  I know at time it can be quite difficult coming up with a remake of a stage but you deserve the credit.  The only item I would replace is the beach ball because the sprites is different.

I have an idea, which I plan to use on my game: you could code the HOW TO PLAY like it was a stage, and script all the actions (won't be hard to you).
So people choose New Game and the first option is HOW TO PLAY. If they choose it, it will go directly to a stage with the all the animations.

What do you think?

Hey, the OpenBOR coders could turn how to play into a level, so we could put it on the main menu.

Best to get the original files and convert to OGG, converting to BOR and back again will degrade audio.

Good idea for how to play, WhiteDragon already has scripted menu so he could easily edit this to point to a stage instead of how to play animation.

Can also use translation.txt in newer versions to rename "how to play" to something else.  (I do this in doom and wolf3d, how to play is renamed to READ THIS!)

Thank you guys! It's a good idea. However for now I will focus on drawing missing sprites.
It's a real nuisance because it's a long job and I want to do things properly.

Thanks you Grill247!! I used beach from Battle Circuit and Undercover Cops.
Than for cabins I used the wood from Blanka's stage (Street fighter 2) and palms from Sagat stage.
Some things I've personally designed from scratch too ;)

@spidermax
Be careful with how you're saving images thou, all your sprites kind of have that jpeg look to them.

What program do you use?

It must be changing the palette mode/colours or something. (sorry  can't think of to explain it right now)

Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9 its what i know  i dont like learning new programs .this is the sprite i usd iny one have a biger one i can us
also i save ever thing in png is that good or shud i save as gif?

ps shredders dojo will be 3 lvls hi

It's right for you to save in png. Saving in gif is not recommended since you will be forced to save the image in indexed mode

Hope this helps, good luck)
P.S.Updated ;)

Please, do not use Dcat's work without his consent. But Dcat is aware of this project, and he was going to contact WD.

Hey White Dragon. Congrats, this mod is really a work of art. I can imagine it inside an Arcade Cabinet ;)

Did you know there is OCRemix project that just got released this month?
Its TMNT Shellshocked, a music album with 22 tracks inspired by SNES and Genesis Megadrive games.
It should fit perfectly with your game, maybe you would only need to adjust the volume a little bit so we can listen to our turtles sound attacks and voices. You may ask their permission first, but as this is a fan project like theirs, probably it won't be a problem.
Download here => http://shellshocked.ocremix.org/

Keep the good work.

Kormann

@White Dragon
I have another design question.
Which versions of Shredder and Krang do you plan to use for the game?
The ones from the First Arcade Game? Maybe the ones from Turtels in Time or from one of the Fighting Games?

I would suggest to the author of the game, to contact this Artist Composer: http://ocremix.org/artist/4628/zircon

For musics, in particular, for Remastered/Remixered/Ispired version of this Great Genesis/MegaDrive list collection:

(In my personal opinion, are the Best Music in TMNT games, with fast, spazial and instrumentals pizza power :) )

Hi to all.
First of all thanks to all for your support.
My project is up and I intend to bring it to fruition.
Unfortunately I'm very busy and I cannot work like before, but I continue to work to it and to finish what I had planned.
I'm currently working on the up/down climb animation (ladders) of the enemy.
