I been thinking of a combat system that is more technical(grapple oriented), for one of my vs modes after watching Garouden and getting annoyed at how people float off jabs in Tekken.
For this I'll be using SNK sprites since they have CAP beat when it come to throws in general back in the day.
Imagine Ryu and Ken fighting in a traditional martial arts tournament with no fireballs and uppers hosted by Geese since he is obsess with being the best in Japan.
Grapplers like Goro, Mary, Clark, Kasumi, Hinako and Ramon can shine.
Ryu with the parry, Geese/Goro with those counters and reversals will be a thing.
Instead of creating multiple games.
I'll try to make one similar to FightnRage as far as game modes go.
Never knew this game existed but it basically cover what I set out to do.
