More that I like this character and I think her moves animations seems to be limited because of the memory.

And when I see what you do for the turtles, it really make me want to see something similar for the 2 "humans" of TMNT tournament fighters.

anyway your edit looks better now. but ,yes, you can reduce the palette to the actuall palette used by this character.
Have a loof at Super Street fighter 2 characters and how they did this effect. (exemple cammy's kicks or spiral arrow)

Now I see Unity makes certain actions like animating a sprite or collision boxes a lot more visual and user friendly.  Makes the process a lot less daunting.
Yeah my uncle made a game with it once, and sins than I wanted to make a game with it.

Yeah its a shame, it really feelzZ like there are allot of framezZ missing in between the moves feels like there isn't enough motion in TMNT TF.

So I made a new run that looks more like the classic ninja run
If you want to improve the run let me know I have a .PSD with the body parts on differant layers(head, body, left leg & right leg)
or multiple sheet with the body parts in place

I really like your work, but I have to say I don't like this kind of Naruto-ish run.
Really not fitting any turtle if you ask me. I don't know why so many people want their characters to run like narutards, but anyway.

I would prefer something like Guy

er even this the way Akuma runs in CVS2. Looks more ready to fight than the winged like clumsy run of Naruto characters.

This is just my opinion.

AFAIK that Leo's running stance is for travelling not for battle. If the run is meant for battle, I suggest changing the run stance as suggested by Ned

Its still a work in progress I thing about making the arms a bit more towards the camera instead of strait back
Even tho Guy is my fav SF Character I don't really like his run his upper body is kinda of I think but the legs are good for a run.
I wil use guys legs and the upper body from this one.

He wil have his swords this is a test and I always make test without weapons so that they can easily be converted to the other turtles

I got it.
To me the idea is more to have at least one arm ready to fight, not both arms in the back like some wings. I was lazy looking for references so I thought about Akuma and Guy.
Hiryu and other ninja run are really badass.

And of course the old run of turtles is not so good. looks like he just walk fast or something.

Anyway, you have plenty of references to choose or just use Naruto style run, I'm sure some fans will still like it.  :)

I think I wil make a 3rd run with the legs of Hiryu and the upperbody from Ryu Hayabusa
 
Hey man I posted about these over at mugen guild but I went ahead and adjusted the colors to match your spritesheet for you so I'll share them here for you, hopefully there are plans for splinter down the line

I sure am aware of them,those are awesome!
I added them to the sheet already but not to the online one because I have a few more moves to finish then I will update them all at once.
do you have them without the weapons so that I can easily convert them to the other Turtles?

It's just my opinion, nothing more - but I'm in the camp of less flash. Seeing Leo throwing supernatural DBZ crap around just looks like out of place fanboy silliness to me. I think the combo would look much cooler all by itself. Or barring that, keep the slash effects, but close range and not flying away.

I agree first move looks like fireball and doesnt fit but other ones are fine cause hes kinda making spark with two swords making contact, single frame is not enough for it when it moves forward on the ground, needs at least 2 frames but 3 is better so it looks like it wobbles a bit.
this is ok but needs small change, his legs are in a split for one frame, his front leg should be bent on this frame, nobody runs with splits like that unless hes kicking a ball on each step.

You made a lot of custom animations but some of them have small amount of frames, you created a lof of different body positions i think you could fill the gaps easily and make animations better.

Yeah they are not the best they can be and I am not the best spriter.
I ise bodyparts to make new framezZ for nee moves and I miss allot of framezZ in between them.
Thats why I am on openbor/mugen forms to get help makeing these.

If you can make them better or know someone who can, that would be a big help and you will have my gratitude!!
