I like the idea of mutant april, ill see if i can add some clothes to the cheetah sprites
 
IMO, this character should not be a priority.
The idea is not bad, but trust me, if there is no body base to headswap, it will take SO much time.

I recommand to focus on easier parts in priority.
This kind of complex edit will slowdown your progress.

For a guest character, can I edit Yungmie (Karnov's Revenge) into Lilac (Freedom Planet)? And why do you not want the gritty Krang sprites I presented?
 
@Miru :by guest character u really mean "guest" so no link with tmnt at all right? if that what u mean im sorry i want only tmnt char in the game ( but they can be based on other series ofc, if the result looks like a tmnt character)

My english sucks so i dont understand the " gritty" words, but if i remember well it was the krang from tournament fighter genesis version?( or the first tmnt arcade game), and i dont like genesis sprites for this game they looks too serious, for example in the video u can see there is already a krang sprites, in the neon night riders level, i took him from the arcade version of turtles in time , he is larger, and look really like the 1987 series, while the one from the genesis probably have more animations but looks like an old movie sprite and is skinny,  i dont want two differents styles in the game ( thats why i didnt take directly casey jones from the genesis and prefered to edit a more funny one)

I didnt started it yet , right now im taking a break and ill star again tomorow, but the additional playables characters will be done in the very end with mike, and donatello, so dont worry about that my priority is to finish the two last levels, ( for that i need to edit a cowboy sprites for the train lvl and a fish mutant sprites for the ship level too)

After that the last thing to do will be to create the animated gif cutscenes, based on the arcade or snes version, so if there is anyone good at that i'll appreciate (intro, ending, and time portal scenes)
 
I finished editing and recoloring the very last sprites of the game "bury my shell at wounded knee", so here a picture of what it will looks like :





-Thats not my favourite stage but i couldnt do better than this, i replaced Leather head with Wingnut and Muckman ( even if i really like leathed head his sprites dont fit well at all with the tournament fighters sprites, its not detailled enough, and i couldnt find any crocodile mutant sprites as a base for editing him)

-I wont post a picture of "skull and crossbones" since i didnt changed anything in this level, the bosses will be the same and the ship is the same than for snes/arcade, the reason of this is because i think tokka and rahzar have already good detailed ( and big) sprites, and the ship level is well designed too  compared to the others ones.
 
I have a problem the open bor wiki doesnt works anymore, and now im trying to make an "weapon type item" , but i have no idea how to do it, without the wiki im lost, anyone can tell me step by step how to do it?

I think i have successfully made the weapon itself, since when i write " setweap 1" in the level its works, but what i want is to get this  weapon  once i pick a certain item on the ground, but nothing happend, so i think the problem come from the item that is supposed to change the character model..
 
This is a great idea. I almost forgot all about that game...I remember playing it on my SNES I rented it once but never owned it. Those characters would be great for a TMNT beat'em up game. I hope your project is going smoothly and best of luck.

I think this project has a lot of potential, for being original. My suggestions is to bet in 3 or 4 special moves for each character and a super finish (that you already did it).
I still thinking that Aska (and Usagi maybe) should be a nice addition to this, and the mutant april is really good! But i suggest you focus in other characters later.

I would also prefer a human version too that other version is so obscure.  But whatever you choose i think your game looks great!
 
Well its me or  there is still no wiki within the link u gave me? i still dont find a way to reach it :/
