Two I had forgotten:
First, the leader of the free world and single most powerful nation on Earth has been kidnapped. Why? Well, because "ninja related crimes are rampant and the White House is no exception." Uhm OK. What to do... Call out the Navy, CIA, Marines, Coast Guard, NSA, Army, US Martial Service, FBI or any other of the dozens of militant US agencies? NO! You walk outside, find a couple of random civilian street fighters and ask if they're bad enough.
"President Ronnie has been kidnapped by the ninjas. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue the president?"
Yes. Yes I am.
But this pales in comparison to my personal favorite: The arcade version of DJ Boy. Was your girl kidnapped? Nope. Some political figure is in trouble? Not today. The city is being ransacked? Yeah right.
So what's the deal? Well, you're a bad-ass "DJ Boy" skater, showing off your moves. Then a gang of punks shows up and takes the boombox - so off you go. IOW, someone stole your tunes and it was on! The end.

You do know Adam was kidnapped, right? I could understand if you're talking about SOR3, but 2 things:SaintJudas said:
1. It seems like you're sarcastically having Adam introduce skate, who was introduced in SOR2, where Adam was kidnapped.
2. I don't know for certain, but did anyone even know Mr.X was back in SOR3, before you reached what turned out to be his android double?
