Sorry if I'm just that silly but I can't find them. All I getting at the moment are .apk files which I don't know what to do with, plus, it was a real chore to find the download section :p

The latest available release is 3742.

It seems one of us need to get all the toolchains in order to do the release job, which was once done by SX back in lavalit.

It has. Good in some ways, not so great in others because it's now possible for anyone to create branches. For most software that's great, but it's about the worst thing that can happen to applications that rely on user generated content.

It's only a matter of time before we have five or six incompatible versions of OpenBOR competing against each other again.

I doubt it.  Few people care enough to actively maintain a fork, and any attempted fork that might be made won't have the benefit of a mature community like this one surrounding it.

Lots of projects like this one are hosted on GitHub, where it's much easier to make a branch than it is on SourceForge, and are better for it if anything.  It allows people without commit access to make changes and get them accepted into the main project.

That said, the OpenBOR community is usually a bit light on programming types, so I doubt we'll have much of either thing happening for a while.

yea and even if some remixedclosedBOR will appear then wiser people will use main version anyway.

Hey, but can any moderator take care of this first?

Like Mr Q said, there are too many apk files without comments, which could be quite confusing.

I'm still wondering if there's a way to edit an upload without leaving orphaned files.

It might seem far fetched, and it is. Thing is though, it has happened before and made one hell of a mess. Even years later there is still the occasional residual effect when someone thinks it's a good idea to mod for DarkBOR, BORHED, or one of the others.

I'll look into this. Members are supposed to have full permissions over their own uploads.
