Did a little editing on the statue's helmet on the left. Also the placement of the statues something feels off about it. May be put them on top most part of the roof. The statue placement on Mrgrill's concept is just fine.
Personally I think it looks better with Mrgrill's but it looks more suitable for a boss fight or a fighting game. Maybe used one for the boss fight and one for the regular clear the stage part of the game.
Also the tile colors kind of clash with the night background. It looks too bright. I suggest checking out Lufia 2's tile colors on the roof for reference.

Hello! Still slowly working on TenChiMaru; The swordman of the Arcade Oni Ninja by Banpresto! I'm proud that the intro sprites are ripped. As I'm cleaning the sprites from the background I'm creating new ideas for his attack moves. A good portion of a stage was ripped from Mutant Fighter by Data East. My plans are to work on the theme park stage's animations from Denjin Makai and connect it to the arena. I would like to leverage the ideas of Streets of Rage's 2's theme park stage that leads to the alien theme park. Here's a mock of the guest characters meeting those kids from California.

Would it be okay if you could edit his small portrait? I’m working on his run and sword dash and back dash. After that I have to align his sprites and check other animations. The only screen shots I need would be from his supers. If anyone here has the time to press that F12 and capture his supers, I’ll be happy to clean the sprites. Then hopefully Sailor Venus and Sailor Pluto can be worked on.

Okay, I'll give it a shot again. I bet it's gonna be the same process like Jinrei which you resized its height to its ugly look to reach that same frame edge (particularly Sailor Moon's, for instance).
The bad news is my HD from my laptop crashed around a month or 2 ago, but the good news is that I have a pixel editing app on my phone.

At least I have an external backup drive which I backed up my files before my computer crashed. I ordered a new HD for my computer and am still waiting for it to arrive.
Could you send me the mug shot of Tenchimaru's face portrait? I'm ready to edit it with my phone 'cause I already found a better or an alternative pixel art editor app for my phone which I should've said before. Not pixel editing. I'm quite a newbie to this pixel art editor app/program though. I can handle it while I'm waiting for my HD to arrive.

Small update; I'm separating the back dash sprites From the background. Adding A secret section to the Shrine stage.

@maxman The portrait is perfect. The portratis of Jinrei and Tenchimaru blend together.
Sailor Pluto and Sailor Neptune's arcade portrait will be the last two needed in the future.
I just finished separating the amusement park gate from the background—time to start piecing those animations together and adding the correct alignment for Tenchimaru.
