If you read the FF3 manual it mentions Lucia was cleared of a crime charge by haggar, at this moment she is being accused of the crime, she will be present. Dean is still street fighting, the events of FF3 have not happened yet! maybe he will cameo somewhere, maybe a pitfight? ;)
Will enemies that were cut from the original Final Fight games have a spot in your games?
well you've seen bred (still incomplete) in his jail gear, that should give a bit of a clue. :)

With Streets of Rage Anniversary Edition back in full swing, what is going to become of all of your recent hard work you put into those new sprites?
There's two project being worked on simultaneously, Anniversary edition which is very close to the original game with extensions like new levels, new enemies and 3 player mode and then there's Neo, which is a new take on SoR1 adding and refining mechanics, retelling the story and setting a new universe. The new sprites are for neo :)
What is the story behind Deadly Metropolis?
Deadly Metropolis is set in the year 2020, It's an episodic tale revolving around New Lima city and the urban warfare taking place within!
Are you adding Streets of Rage 2 and Streets of Rage 3 into the Anniversary Edition?
It's on the cards given I have mostly programmed SoR2 Axel but the focus for now is SoR1
I know one of the characters as Brad Stone, but who are the other three?
the first two are Kaine and Abel Hunter, senior police officers of New Lima, the one sporting the metal look is B-Well aka B the leader of "Azul Vertex" a biker gang running an abandoned little town sitting on the outskirts of the city.

The only question I have for both of these are "Will there be any online play?"
Well unless there's a way to get that to work in OBoR it's not very likely, however Deadly Metropolis being an original concept there's a possibility of such.

Awesome news everyone! I'm back up to speed on the basics for SoR1 anniversary's engine. Now it's just a matter of getting the small details worked in and then onward to the more difficult stuff like the cop call, vaulting etc.

I also started working on Kyle Travers for Final Fight Revenge, nothing noteworthy I'm just excited to be bringing this underrated character to the 2d world. :D

Horrible news, I caught pneumonia and will be sitting on the bench for a minute. Also Project Neo keeps crashing and the logs won't tell me why, it just crashes and goes to the prompt that notifies me that the program crashed. So I'm going to have to sift through that and figure out what's going on.

Other than that just checking in, later!

Still concept but, glad to see Blaze with true female body (finally)
But I'm not sure about Zan stance (CVS Rugal stance), perhaps the legs need some work.
Axel's legs seems to ben in a stange way (down the knees)

This is only my opinion.
Such a game would be magic!!
I just regret not to have a new comer (fast girl character?)

no worries, the feedback is needed! Axel hasn't really changed from what I had before outside of the design itself but I'll take that into consideration.

Update on the concepts I think I'm happy with this (is a perfectionist ever?) Fixed up the palettes, changed some details here and there. Basically I'm going for something that feels "not" SoR-ish while retaining key elements with each character.

a twist on some fan favorite concepts.
Murphy's a concept I've messed with for a while, the idea being a character that actually justifies using gun play in an SoR game other than Mr.X himself. If you ever asked how the punisher would play in an SoR game here's your answer.
Tina is a mixture of different concepts I had for this allusive "sister of axel" character that floated around, another weapon based character something SoR was sort of missing.
Java is the freedom fighter type character I wanted to do, I had various names for this character but I thought Java would be a nice jab at workings within the community, I also like how it sounds lol. Also my excuse to put a VF based character in action. :P
Erie, the one final fight trope sega didn't take from final fight, the ninja! (Seriously not even a jo musashi cameo?!) I guess to their credit Erie was PLANNED to be a character. Of course what would a character like this be without a wall jump, longer combos and a divekick?
Mecha Victy, because... reasons! Forget the K9s bring in the kangaroos damnit! I may have had too much fun with this one.
 
Those look pretty amazing! Their outfits look very super stylish! I like it. Dr. Zan's hair looks kinda like Godot of Ace Attorney: Trials & Tribulation (third sequel of the Ace Attorney series). I like Skate's stance, it's like he does his stance like Ryu.

Murphy looks kinda like Cable for the stance and Punisher for his hair. LOL I like his design though. Almost like he's Solid Snake that he's gonna go for stealth mission. LOL Oh, even his right leg is shaded at front like CPS2/SFA/MVC style.

Tina reminded me of Cassie Cage (MKX) for her appearance.

Java looks like a Muay Thai fighter to me, but I know you mentioned she's a freedom fighter and her outfit is badass. ;)

All of them look really awesome, man.

May I suggest something? I always wondered how would be the Rushing Beat 2 last boss, Dieter / Iceman, was the son of Belger looking for revenge. What do you think? Could put it in your game?

Amazing ideas and sprite sheets about SoR!! I cant waiting for playing this!! :)

We all know you can do awesome concepts! Now it would be nice to see some of them in action.
Even if the fighting stances already give a great feeling! 8)

So this is Cable, Rachel, ??, Pai Chan and Roger Jr? (I mean the references for stances...)

All these characters looks great! even if I'm not fan of the kung fu girl. I prefer when they are small and cute more like Xiaoyu or even Lei Fang.

If you take suggestions of characters, I'll be glad to give some character design sprite concept. Just PM me if you want.

Anyway, good luck.
I sincerely hope this game will go farther than "game project/concept"
