Bar crowds Animation (West Area)

at first I thought it would be cool but it looks so funny lol

I like it. It gives life to the background.

Perhaps the guy readng newspaper shouls move hist head slower...

I'll look into the original about the speed
also I tried the crowds walking earlier but it's not good 🙃

What about ambient crowd/ bar noise that fades in as you get closer and fades out as you exit?

Yeah this is good I remembered hearing the good crowds noise (sounds) not sure where

something like hidden points while player possition near the barking dog in bay area, although I'm still not sure about this hidden feature available in arcade version but any info would be a great help

You can go to Sounds Resource and search for the sound of a barking dog from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. It's in the DS/DSi section. It has all the sounds from the game, but maybe they could be useful for your mod.
 
Hilarious how they wreck the bar and the customers are like “ohh it’s the mayor and those boys at it again” without giving a f about it 😆

This is actually a wonderful idea! By the way maybe the "crowd animations" should trigger more often:

- because some of these motions are barely noticeable,
- it's a bar fight for Capcom's Sake! ^^
- it's a beat'em up, make it even more lively.

It's a great addition to the module, in the arcade version only the bartender turned his head.

I like this. One little touch I think would help, is give the foreground bar patrons a very slightly different scroll speed to add some depth. If you really want to give it a nice transition, add a blackout over the areas beyond each wall that fade away when you break the door. This could be easily achieved using drawbox() in the the respective doors' update scripts.

that's exactly what you get when you have a former champion's mayor 🤭

That was a pretty cleaver idea

Agreed This actually great stuff to added it's just that the crowds on this stage are visually not too detailed so this idea would be much better if applied to games like AOF 1 mac's bar, the graphics are amazingly detailed.
Secondly, adding things like this will make this stage stand out from the others so I need to make other stages have similar advantages and this will be quite a difficult task


Update Bridge Stages Background

I change the background of Bridge1 and 2 stages, I like the old design but it looks too much like sega CD version

Another idea is to make part of the crowd an obstacle/passive enemy: you get too close and someone would come out and hit you, like the crowd in Pit Fighter
Or anyone from the crowd can react with panic of fear as they run away from the fight if the Mad Gear or the heroes start to fight. Some of them will hide. It's kind of like Tekken 4 or any other game that have that similar, where one of them moves away from the fight swiftly. If that part of the crowd is an NPC or whatever, yes, candamage will be used to attack the player.

Slums Basement Background Fixed

Not sure why Capcom removing 1 color when the lights went dark here:

This resulted in my custom area feels flat

so I decided to add 1 missing color here (only in custom area) so gradient color looks better now

Yeah also added sexy gravity as a bonus 🤭

Mission Start Stage Update by Don Vecta

I've always wanted to update this scene, not because it's bad but it's an "early" stage so it's important that players shouldn't get bored easily with this scene
This stage should always look fresh in my opinion
send love to @don vecta who has kindly helped me to do it 🥰 I love the result it looks prettier also the entrance to the parking lot looks more like the "entrance" now 😊
