Body for levels

How do i add the body on a level with Gimp? I stink at it so far. What order is the z {zmin} {zmax} {BGheight}?

I don't use Gimp but for your image, I suggest setting z 220 315

Cool!  I've got gimp.  Didn't know people used it for scrollers on games.
I assume the 'body' is the part the sprites 'walk' on, isn't it?
