Hey everyone the creators of Card Saga Wars have finally decided to release their work , the first demo has 4 playable characters , Cloud , Link , Kos-Mos and Megaman X.
Next week they will be adding another batch of characters , there will be 12 characters in total.

They also stated that all of the sprites and the game itself can be edited if Mugen creators want to edit and update them in anyway so long as you give credit.

Agreed. I remember first seeing the trailer for this years ago, and nothing came out of it. At least something is coming out now but it's a shame it's going to be like this.

In fact, they were hired by a game company thanks to that game. And they had no time to work on it anymore.
They are releasing this because they are working on a new and original game.
 
People are starting to rip the sprites now , with the creators permission ,would love to see someone who is good with Openbor to make a beat em up with the sprites , a card saga wars beat em up done right would be amazing.

I'm still playing the game atm , so much fun .

I hope someone really does justice with those amazing sprites and not just a BOR clone.
