Failed CAG project

Quick update: fixing a LOT of bugs over the weekend, as well as rebalancing the final boss because... I'll be real he's way too god damn cheap, and NOT in a good way (last 2 words here are very important).ETA release date for Proto Zero is projected to be late Sept-Oct
 
Hey just wanna say to whoever wishlisted my game that I really do appreciate it. I don't get a lot of support as a beginner dev and my game is a bit out there in terms of difficulty, but I really am thankful for your support.

Hello.

I unfortunately have to announce that Proto Zero has been unprofitable as a project. Henceforth, I will be pushing out any and all bug fixes or qol changes within the game, before December. After that, the game is pretty much platinum.

Don't lose heart friend. Very few endeavors like this are going to have an ROI. Think of them as building blocks. Keep at it and keep us informed.

I'm not keeping up with s***. This next month, I'm just going to push the last few changes to whatever needs tweaking and that's it. I didn't get any actual support from anyone from any other forums, let alone this one.

Y'all can have fun with your stupid ass BOR ports and shitty fan made projects. This genre is a slave to brands, and new devs are proving that point with their crappy 80's cartoon and Comic book tie-ins.

Excuse you? You advertise on my dime, nobody ever says anything that wasn't encouraging, and the best thing you can think to do is lash out and throw insults when people don't buy in on a first effort?
