Hey guys - it's The R.G.C, I know I'll probably get some moans and groans for this, but I just put up a big update on ol' FFH, and I'm putting a big emphasis on the sprite build. Guy is the first character to go through the second revamp, and he's finished and ready for play. I'd also updated Cody and several others earlier on, but not in such radical form... but they're next, along with some new characters I'll be tossing in for good beatdown fun. I would say to just expect a new looking game altogether when it's done. I'm also upping the bar on stage quality; stage 1-3 is an example of this, for anyone who remembers the original; I wanted to hit Hugo's theme a bar up; the stage got just the right music track, and I wanted the alley's color and atmosphere to be dark and sharp to set the mood for that ominous first boss encounter. Looks aside, I've also taken the time out to fix collision box issues, make the bosses hella tougher and distinguishable (i.e: Balrog sails through the air and strikes quick and viciously - Bison's a charging bulltank - etc.) and hopefully bring about a better feel for the game overall. I didn't want to push any envelopes with tons of fancy bells, whistles, unnecessary stage FX and other various BS extras; just a good, solid, simple beat em' up that's actually fun to play, and that might inspire another run through when it's all done - just a good, fun ride. Thinking back to the first, awful release, I'm actually glad I initially released crap, because it's always fun to return in the future with some unexpected pleasant surprises, and show a good bit more of what you can really do. In other game news, my first original "Super Knuckle Stars" is underway and looking good; drawing and scanning can really unleash the imagination's inner-beast; I gotta let m' boy off the leash!!! Anyway, the demo will be hopefully going up sometime in 2015, if everything can stay on course. If anyone might be interested in collaborating, pitch a word and let's talk, bro! We could have lots of fun building some badass games together. Well, gots ta' run! I'll be back with some more fun soon; till then, mash those buttons, slam those joysticks and keep on gaming!!!
